A Sketch Update and a Life Update

You may have noticed I've recently fallen a bit behind and I think my loyal fans deserve a bit of an explanation. Before I do, I'm sharing a preview of the newest drawing featuring an old trope I can't help going back to. There's just something about the idea of an evil tickling jester that has always turned me on. Look for the finished drawing soon. It will be quite naughty.

When I started making tickle art again 2 1/2 years ago it was out of necessity. When the pandemic hit I had been working as a freelancer with several companies in NYC that gave me very steady work. Once lockdown happened, all of that abruptly disappeared. I had a terrible and scary year (like so many others) where I realized exactly how unessential my job was. My work entirely dried up and I was left wondering what I was going to do.

It was then that I made the decision to get back into doing tickle fetish art again and, honestly, it saved my life. I can't thank everyone enough who came back and joined my new platforms. While it certainly wasn't equal to what I had been making before, my two sites made me enough to survive a few years of a severe lack of other kinds of work.

While things are not back to the way they were pre-pandemic, "real world" work for me is beginning to trickle back in. Over the last couple of months in particular I managed to land two jobs that will pay me more than I've made over the last three years combined. The down side is that they also are very time-consuming. Juggling a weekly tickle obligation with a sudden influx of work has been very challenging for me. I'm afraid I'm a bit out of practice managing my time.

That said, one project is complete and I am going to do my best to get back on a regular schedule. In my defense, 2+ years of weekly work is an accomplishment I'm proud of. I have not increased my price in that time, nor have I archived older work. When you join, you get it all.

I do really appreciate every single member, even if lately it doesn't seem like it. Thanks for sticking around and I hope that you enjoy what I have coming in the future.
