Skate Punk Challenge
Added 2023-10-12 00:09:23 +0000 UTCI thought I was completely out of my old artwork but, after a careful perusal of my folders, I actually found a handful that I hadn't posted here yet! So we're good for a few more weeks at least. One of the drawings I found was from 2009. "Skate Punk Challenge" has three buddies playing a funny game to see who gets to keep the best deck for themselves. This was one of those drawings that sprang from the position: I had good reference of a guy reaching back to grab his own ankles. Honestly, the "sk8punk" dialog I wrote back then is so cringe that I resaved a new version without it. Totally rad.

These days since everything is digital I'd probably do both. But back then the drawing was actually done in pencil, not as easy to alter.
