He wanted to see the live action Prince Eric getting his bare feet tickled, and I thought this sounded like a fun idea. King Triton will do anything to keep the handsome human away from his daughter, including tormenting the man's strange sensitive lower appendages until he gives in and agrees to stay away. Drawing a merman on land proved to be quite a challenge. Hope you think I nailed it! I just had to call this one "Poor Unfortunate Soles". Enjoy making it a part of your world.
