When James' friend Nakoma told him he couldn't truly be a member of his tribe unless he went through several trials, he was game to try just about anything. Mad Jack and Nakoma convinced him that he had to endure the "Trial of the Sticky Paws". They tricked him into removing his moccasins and told him he had to be tied to a fence post in order to remain very still. At first James was confused when Nakoma began drizzling honey on his toes. But when he saw Ben begin to lumber over licking his enormous maw, he realized what he was in for. His friends were having a little fun at his expense and just wanted to have a few laughs. And laugh they did...
