20/10/23 Update
Added 2023-10-20 06:30:36 +0000 UTCSo, I've finished the Walter Route and the Ayre Route in Armored Core 6, and it's only having to keep working on this that is keeping me from finishing the Allmind Route. I love From Software's dating sim with attached mecha-piloting minigames.
On the story front, we should be going back to Lorian and Lori's no-names POV soon, hopefully some time in November. There we'll finally see how she interacts with the new blood, and I have some fun interactions in mind.
Currently torn about an idea, where someone already in Lorian turns out to know one of our new recruits, but that seems like too convenient of a coincidence for not much story payoff in my mind.
I'm also here to announce the schedule for the Christmas break. The last chapter post of the year will be on December the 15th, Friday (my time), because there's likely Christmas stuff to be done. Posting will resume on January the 8th, my time.

Well, since they are Deadspeakers they do seem like the most likely of the four flavors to have interacted with people coming off a ship. Its really not too far-fetched if you do decide you want to go that way, and nothing says they need to be very well acquainted with them.
