As we come to the end of the month, a few announcements. First, please be informed that there will be no posts on the last week of September up to the 6th of October for anti-burnout reasons. I'd rather not work much on my birthday. And no, I didn't take a week to get born. Regularly scheduled updates will continue after that time.

Also, working on developing a new series, tentatively to be called 'The Apocalypse Survival Chronicle of a Magical Girl Mecha Pilot'. Still working out on whether I want to use the same 'independent vigilante' as Nightmaerangers, use an 'everyone is totally-not-conscripted organized office-politics' model, make it more apocalyptic with magical girl warlords, or have the magical girls perform a coup and make themselves the government to get around government incompetence by replacing it with their own relative inexperience. If this sounds interesting to you, say so in the comment.

That's it every one. The next Patron exclusive Demesne Short Story is coming this week, so watch out for it. How are you liking the Short Stories, by the way?

UPDATE: ok, after getting some advice and talking through the scenario, I now have a good broad-strokes plot for 'The Apocalypse Survival Chronicle of a Magical Girl Mecha Pilot'. Sadly, I was pretty compelling convinced that the warlord approach wouldn't work, so no 'The Walking Magical Girls' post-apocalyptic scenario. We're getting more of an apocalypse in progress.

What follows now is filling the plot with interesting characters, resisting the urge to make them blatant expies (repeat to self: No Green Lantern Nanohas!), finding places to put in the promised magical girl fights and mecha fights and magical girl mecha fights and...

Also, finding time to write this. I can barely write Nightmaerangers on top of Demesne as it is. I'll try to bang out 10 starting chapters to gauge interest, and them figure out a writing schedule for it then.

Now, time to go back the Demesne Short Story, currently titled 'To Hunt Beasts'...
