Shutting down Patreon for a while.

Hey guys, I need to talk to you about something.

Lately, I've been feeling a bit lost.

Sometimes I just want to unwind and do some miscellaneous illustration that comes to mind, but I feel compelled to keep working on the comic. At some point I just started losing the enjoyment I once had working on it. It's started to take it's toll on me, motivationally. I've even been skipping out on hanging out with friends to work on it when I can. I don't think I can keep doing this anymore.

I miss goofing around with my friends on Drawpile or playing games with them.

I've been reminiscing about the old days before I started a Patreon. I was more open to experimenting, trying new methods and techniques. Even if it didn't come out right, I learned a lot from them and enjoyed doing it. I've been hesitant to do that now, especially if people are supporting me financially. There weren't any deadlines to meet so I could work at my own pace. If something wasn't coming out right, I was free to swap over to a different work and come back to it later. I want that freedom again.

I need to take a break for a while, from Patreon and compensated work in general.

I'm sorry, but the comic will be delayed for a while. I just need some time to myself to collect myself.

I appreciate all the support you guys have given me thus far. I've refunded everyone this month for the trouble.

I'll leave my Patreon up for a few more days just to make sure everyone reads this post.
