I painted lain with acrylic paint on an aluminum plate.
Added 2025-05-14 10:11:50 +0000 UTCWhen I started using paints, I wanted to have fun and paint on different objects, so I bought an aluminum plate and a sheet of glass.
I painted a light coat of gesso, let it dry for a day, and then painted lain on the aluminum plate.
It is much easier to paint on ...... paper or canvas. Also, if something hard hit it, it would come off.
Maybe the gesso was too thin.
絵の具を使い始めたら、楽しくて色々な物に描いてみたくて、とりあえずアルミの板と板ガラスを買ってみました。
ジェッソを軽く塗って一日乾かして、アルミ板の方に、lainを描いてみました。
……紙とかキャンバスの方が、圧倒的に描きやすいですね。あと、固いものが当たったら、剥がれてしまいそう。
ジェッソが薄かったかもしれません。

Beautiful art. I'm so glad I found your Patreon! It's a joy to see more of your art. Even 20+ years later I still watch Haibane Renmei and love the artwork. It's a dream of mine to someday purchase some original Haibane art. Maybe someday!
