Hello, this is Yoshitoshi Abe. This is a report on the progress of work this week and the events that happened around us.

Today, I just delivered a cover illustration of a book and four monochrome texts. Of course, I didn't draw that much in a week, and when I checked the date, I started making cover illustrations from 2021-01-08, and with regard to the cover illustration, I finally finished the last correction today and delivered it. He was a rare period painting for himself, and it took a long time because he started by making the pattern.

It's a bit exaggerated to make a picture, but if it's a plain picture, it's a little strange, like an old man in a kimono tied with a mage, and until you get used to it, you write a rough sketch endlessly, and it's a lot of trial and error. did. I thought I had to write more various subjects.

Regarding the cover illustration, I wanted to go in a direction that does not show the character illustration on the whole surface, so I thought that the face part would be covered with the title and the face could not be seen clearly, and the whole body , There was a plan that the face was cut off the screen, so I did not know which one it would be, so I drew the whole body with a fairly large size of 600 dpi of B4 and proceeded in a form that can correspond to any layout .. It's 8628px x 6084px and the file size is 1.4G. No, the times have changed to be able to draw pictures of this size on the iPad Pro. When I was lain, when I was drawing a poster-sized picture with Painter on a Mac, I had a terrible problem that when I tried to save it, it crashed and the file disappeared, and I repainted the same picture four times. It seems that it could not be saved when it exceeded 8000 pixels. That was painful ... It is a brownish picture of Reion standing facing the front in a pose like arms folded (a little different).

In the end, the layout was such that the face was hidden by the title when the face was up, which was a waste of all my efforts, but fortunately the picture was very popular and I was asked to make a POP for the bookstore. Then, the whole body version of the picture was used.

The additions and minor corrections for this POP have just finished today.

As for monochrome, I asked for one to be added, so the schedule for three was changed to four.

Also, I'm inquiring if I can publish the production video and the sketch, so I will post it here if permission is given.

Other than that, I can't talk about anything because it's not open to the public yet, but for the past week I've done a lot of work to cut the character's design rough.

Now that the children are old enough to play, I'm playing with four family members.
