Author's Note: September 2025

Oooh boy... The last few months have... Well, they haven't been good. It's been very mentally taxing. And I'm extremely grateful for all of your patience with me. I'm hoping things are turning up now, and I think they are.

I'd rather not go into details. And I'm sure you don't want me to go into details. Several people have wished me well, and I'm extremely grateful for that and for you being willing to wait.

"A Heroes' Blessing: Chapter 8" This guy has fought me every step of the way, you would not believe how many times I tried to finish this and couldn't. I had to force myself to not rewrite stuff and continue writing till the end. Which feels silly - I mean, I actually have the entirety of 'A Heroes Blessing' planned out, and as people can see from what I've posted previously, I know where I want to go. But for some reason, the farther along I get in a story, the more difficult it gets. It feels a bit like building a tower of cards, and I get more and more worried as time goes on... Regardless, I've finished what I would consider a rough draft of the chapter. The conversation with Hebe especially bothers me, and it is subject to polishing/changing. Trust me, I'll be handing it off to my beta-readers to get stuff fixed, but I'll post it to you guys first. Let me know what you guys think of it!

Then, I actually have several story ideas that I got the urge to write, and that I think could be really fun. And let me tell you, it's extremely frustrating when other story ideas come so easily when I want to focus on something else.

'Charlies Angels'
This one is a Hazbin Hotel AU. The idea is that usually, when we see the Exorcists, they're a faceless enemy. it's easier to call them 'evil' if they have no face, no personality. They might as well be mindless drones save for Lute or Vaggie. I wanted to explore what would happen if they actually had personalities and the like, and how they'd react to Vaggie being tortured and banished. Vaggie would have had friends, people who'd be concerned. Or, even those who didn't know Vaggie, they'd be concerned over how she was treated. Or who didn't like being an Exorcist, and now see a way out. Each chapter will be of a different group or solitary exorcist who decides to defect to Charlie.

'Fortuna's Regret'
This one is another Worm AU. I saw this prompt from somewhere, and my mind decided to dredge up the prompt and say 'how would you write this'? It'll predominately be a crack fic. ‘Through machinations of Contessa, Taylor is related to the Triumvirate.’ And how they deal with that particular fact once they find out. They probably hadn't given the thought of kids much thought, and suddenly there is a teenager that's their child. How do they deal with it? How will they wish to be perceived by Taylor?

'A Demon's Intent'
I don't have much time for movies or tv-shows these days. And yet I watched K-Pop Demon Hunters and absolutely loved it. It was much, much better than I was expecting. But when I looked through for fanfiction on it, I noticed a particular trend - Most people show Rumi as being the wounded one, the one needing help. Which I totally get, don't get me wrong. But I wanted to have a Rumi that was raised in the Demon Realm as a demon, and was still very much against Gwi-Ma, and was determined to see him taken down. Featuring Feral!Rumi, with a planned reunion with Rumi's mother (something I have yet to see in any fanfic) and you've got this fic.

And that's all the chapters I've got today, and I'm really hoping everybody enjoys them. Next on my list after polishing these up is going to be "A Better Master" And "The Wild Hunt". Then, if my muse is willing, I'll swing back to "A Heroes Blessing". We're arriving at San Francisco now, and the meeting with Nerius is nigh! Herakles is gonna learn something quite startling about the version of Hercules here, and he's going to demand answers.
