*SPOILER WARNING* You need to watch 4 Minutes episode 1 to 4 before reading

OMG, you guys! I’m completely OBSESSED with this show, and I just had to share my wild theory. After watching Episode 4 (for the third time... don’t judge me, I have no self-control 🤣), I think I’ve cracked the code on the dual timelines that are basically taking over my brain.

So, imagine this: We’re dealing with two totally different storylines (and not 4 like we said with Seïa), like alternate universes, but with extra drama and chaos. One where Great has his four-minute superpower (cue the superhero theme song 🦸‍♂️), and one where he’s just your average rich guy (okay, maybe more of a dick kind of guy) stumbling through his nightmare of a life—complete with a psychopath family, dark business dealings, and motivations so shady they need a flashlight—not like the rest of us, who just have to deal with normal-people problems. Okay... I will calm myself now.

This means Great is the star of the supernatural timeline, while TonKla gets to be the main character of the “normal” storyline—if you can call any of this normal. Let’s just roll with it, okay?

Now, hear me out.

In the first storyline, Great doesn’t have his time-rewind ability, which means everything goes straight to tragic town. It kicks off with him committing a hit-and-run, but plot twist—the woman doesn’t die (thank you, supernatural forces or plot armor!). After getting a ton of pressure from his parents, who somehow found out about the hit-and-run (don’t ask me how—they’re rich, they have their ways), he’s forced to bring this woman flowers and snap a pic as proof. Of course, he doesn’t actually do it because there’s still a tiny, nice side buried deep inside him somewhere (I mean, how can you not turn into a bit of a dick with a family like that?). When he gets to the hospital, he finds out the woman was actually trying to end it all by jumping in front of his car. 😳 Talk about a guilt bomb. Great runs off, bumps into Tyme, but totally ignores him (so rude, right? How can you just ignore a face like that?). Later, Tyme starts following him—because he saw his name on the flowers and decided, "Why not use this guy?"—and Great’s morally questionable doucheba—oops, I mean rich friend—decides to level up his bullying game by straight-up killing TonKla’s brother. Great's family, because they are villains with decision-making skills obviously top-notch, helps cover it up. And as if that wasn’t enough, Nan dies because Great couldn’t save her, and Tyme ends up dead too outside that warehouse trying to save her, bringing us back to the series’ opening scene. I tried to check if he was rocking the same outfit from that first scene, but nope, not the same. So that part of my theory is still a bit shaky.

BUT NOW, there’s a second storyline where Great does have his rewind ability, and this is where things get juicy. Instead of pulling a disappearing act after the car accident, he actually helps the woman and still goes to the hospital, but this time he avoids her room too scared to see her. He meets Tyme, and OMG, they have the cutest eye contact moment ever (please let this be the moment they fall in love without them realizing, I’m shipping this so hard, I can’t even 💖). Then Great goes full superhero mode, stops his doucheba—uh, sorry did it again—"Title" from killing Dome (aka my cutie baby actor who I totally want to adopt), and even saves Nan by going full mafia-gun-on-fire mode with Tyme.

So, to sum it all up: It looks like TonKla is stuck in the first storyline (and the show is giving him the screen time he deserves sorry for what I said in my reaction to ep 4 about me not understanding the screentimes because he’s in fact the main character of his timeline, while everyone else beside the detective is vibing in the second. In the ordinary timeline, TonKla finally gets his revenge on Title (still douchebag in my head), and the forensic team drops his name to Win, the detective, for the second murder, but Win is like, “Nah, I will protect that man even if I know he's the killer. We’re good here.”

I also saw some people on twitter not understanding why Great betrayed his brother so easily and for me it's actually quite understandable. Great has unwavering trust in his power. He truly believes he has that power for good purposes because each time he made a bad decision he went back. So when it happened again after doubting Tyme, he knew Nan was really being held by his family. His power made him realize Tyme was right. So, he didn’t betray his brother easily—he just trusted his power more.

So, what do you think, guys? Got any wild theories of your own, or are you on the same page as my crazy ramblings? Don’t be shy—share your thoughts here! Let’s unravel this show together like the nerdy detectives we are. I can't wait to discover more. Have a nice day everyone!

I really like your theory and it matches with what me and my friends thought. Just curious if these two timelines cam merge somehow... Also seems Tonkla can see dead? He saw his dead cat in ep 1 and also Dome who was saved in the "superhero" storyline but dead in "normal" one 🤔 Sammon said there will be some spirituality involved. She also said exposition and introduction of plot and characters ended in ep 4, now things will start unfolding, so it will become a crazy ride apparently.

oh, I thought so too cause if Great really was there and didn't help Dome but ran away, Tonkla may have learned about it somehow and take revenge on him too

I'm sorry, we're having difficulties finishing the ongoing series. The series we’re considering starting afterward (still not certain) are Manner of Death and another series chosen by the VIPs. I’m not sure which show it will be, but I'll ask them as soon as we catch up on the other shows.

This show is incredible for that. It's making me think so much, maybe more than for the other series.

Hello,i think i understand more with this episode. I agree with you for some part but not the entire theorie. I think it’s more simple than that. I could be wrong again but i agree there’s 2 timeline,i said that before. One is the reality with tong kla, main character ,story where great make wrong decisions but help tyme with nan but couldn’t save her and end up on the hospital bed in the first scene,we don’t know how yet. Tong kla really kills title, well named by you, because he really killed dome and great familly helps title familly because they’re close or in the same business.. and the second timeline where great has his power is only in his head while being at this hospital in critique shape. I think he is imagining this because he wants to change the story and do better and be a better man. Every time he wants to change the story,it plays with his adrenaline he has an heart attack and the 4 minutes, they said it in this episode is the time limit that the brain can survive without oxygene, but the doctors managed to save him every time for now so great keeps releaving his story correcting his mistakes. So love that i keep making théories and love earing yours ❤️

Thank you always.  Do you have any plans to react cosmetic playlover?😣

There is also the link between the girl and Great. I'm still not sure enough about that part of the plot to share my views on this. So I will wait. I just think it's link to the first scene of episode 1 with Great on that hospital bed. His heart stopped beating, maybe for 4 minutes. I'm curious if it will a be one of the ending. Maybe even the ending of the ordinary timeline. Because if Tonkla thinks Great was part of his brother's murder, maybe he will also come after him.
