MCU- CH-326. That’s because you didn’t meet me earlier
Added 2025-02-24 03:25:00 +0000 UTCAs Luke got closer and closer, the soul-shaking roar from the Wall of Origin beneath him grew louder.
Endless fear began to take root in the heart of the Omega Titan. He wanted to escape, but the moment he shifted his body slightly, a terrifying suction force began to drain the energy from him.
"You were shouting so loudly earlier. Why don't you keep talking now?" Luke's teasing voice reached the Titan's ears as he crawled up to him.
Without waiting for a response, Luke raised his hand and struck the Titan's head with force, causing it to jerk violently to the side.
"Ah!" The Titan screamed—not from the pain, but because the movement triggered the Wall of Origin's backlash. The energy in his body began to drain rapidly, swallowed by the wall.
The gods and demons around them fell silent, not daring to even glance in Luke's direction for fear of offending him and meeting the same fate. After all, the Wall of Origin didn't make exceptions, and any movement could be deadly.
Before long, the once-plump Omega Titan had shriveled significantly. Seeing this, Luke struck him again.
"You—!" The ancient god managed only a single word before the Wall's suction intensified. In moments, the Titan, who had existed for countless eons, was reduced to an empty husk. The surrounding gods and demons trembled in fear.
Yet, fear didn't stop them from offering praise when necessary.
"God of Evolution, you are the perfect deity in my heart. Let me see you once I escape the Wall of Origin!" One cried out.
"That's right! Even Yuga Khan pales in comparison. You are our only hope!" Another added.
Suddenly, a flood of flattery poured from the mouths of the gods and demons.
"As expected of the God of Evolution! He said he'd kill him, and now he's dead!" One stammered, clearly struggling to find the right words.
As the last word left his mouth, a tyrannical voice echoed from the distance:
"I didn't expect such a remarkable newcomer on the Wall of Origin. There's been a lot of unrest here lately."
"How dare you climb the Wall of Origin without my permission? You don't take me, Yuga Khan, seriously. It seems the reputation I earned from bathing the God's Domain in blood has been forgotten!"
A towering, muscular figure approached, crawling on all fours. His presence radiated an aura of brutality and bloodlust.
This was none other than Yuga Khan, the former ruler of Apokolips, the butcher of countless worlds, and the father of the dark tyrant Darkseid. He had once held a portion of the power of origin, believing it would allow him to unlock the secrets of the Wall of Origin. Instead, he found himself trapped upon it.
Fortunately, the power of origin granted him some freedom. After hundreds of thousands of years of adaptation, he could move more freely on the wall—though he still couldn't escape. Despite this, the other trapped gods and demons saw him as their savior, a role that gave this infamous butcher a strange sense of purpose.
However, when Yuga Khan returned from the other side of the wall, he found the dynamics had shifted. The gods and demons who once praised him were now singing the praises of a new god—Luke.
This was an unbearable insult to a tyrant like Yuga Khan. He didn't care about the lives of these gods and demons, nor had he ever intended to help them escape. But he couldn't tolerate the same flattery they once lavished on him being directed at another.
"Yuga Khan, I didn't expect you to come to me before I could seek you out." Luke said, his voice calm and unyielding.
Though the tyrant before him was notorious, Luke felt no fear. Even if they were in the realm of gods, Luke would stand his ground.
Yuga Khan's lips curled into a cold smile, "Interesting. I can't remember the last time someone dared to speak to me like this."
His scarlet eyes burned with naked murderous intent. Since leading the new gods to overthrow the old, Yuga Khan had become the undisputed strongest among them. Fear and awe were all he saw in the eyes of others; flattery and sycophancy were all he heard.
"If you'd met me earlier, you'd have heard these words sooner." Luke retorted, unfazed.
"As a new god, it seems you've never witnessed my glory when I bathed the God's Domain in blood. Perhaps it's time to remind you fools what fear feels like." Yuga Khan said, a bloodthirsty grin spreading across his face.
Luke smirked, "I didn't see what you were like in the past, but I can see clearly what you are now. If you're so powerful, why have you been trapped on the Wall of Origin for millions of years, unable to move up or down?"
His words struck a nerve. Yuga Khan's expression darkened. Though Luke knew that, according to the original timeline, Yuga Khan had once broken free from the Wall of Origin, his arrogance had led him back, and he'd been trapped ever since.
"Humph! You're just a mere god from the Kryptonian pantheon. Even your main god, Rao, wouldn't dare raise his voice in my presence. How dare you disrespect me!" Yuga Khan growled.
He had never encountered Doomsday, but he recognized the Kryptonian divine aura emanating from Luke. Yet, Luke remained undeterred, his resolve unshaken.
