Because of her work as an adventurer, Aya had been troubled by a lack of sleep for quite some time. Every night, just as she was about to fall asleep and drift into a daze, her daughters often took advantage of her.
But now, this problem has finally been resolved.
As early as when Aya began her career as an adventurer, she had anticipated that the work would be complicated and varied, requiring a great deal of continuity. The Dragon Kingdom also had a high demand for high-level adventurers.
If she did everything herself, she probably wouldn't even have enough time to rest each day. So, not long ago, Aya embarked on her journey of laziness.
Her initial plan was to accept monster-hunting missions at the Adventurer's Guild in the morning, inform Pleia, and ask her to arrange for her men to prepare things like "ears" and "tails" in advance.
This way, Aya could spend the day leisurely and then go to the Adventurer's Guild to hand in the quest in the evening.
This was the initial plan, but later on, she thought it was too much trouble.
Although she no longer needed to complete the tasks herself, she still had to hand them over personally, which was quite bothersome.
Moreover, every time she entered or left the Adventurer's Guild, she would be approached by all kinds of people—some wanting to greet her casually, some hoping to go on adventures together, some seeking to establish a friendly relationship, and some even asking if she had a partner. It was truly annoying.
The same went for Guild Master Randy. Although he was a good person, in Aya's eyes, he was also very boring and overly enthusiastic, so she didn't enjoy meeting him at the Adventurer's Guild.
'Why not just use the double phantom as a shadow warrior?' She thought, and thus came up with this genius idea.
Doppelgangers, a special race, have a rather casual, flat, round face that looks like one drawn by a child. However, as long as you add data to it, they can be transformed into different postures, and even their abilities can be partially copied.
Aya's idea was to let the high-level double phantom transform into "Levi" to carry out missions, freeing up her time to do other things.
After spending a day testing the double phantom's abilities, intelligence, and character, and confirming that it was indeed capable of handling the work of an adventurer, Aya confidently assigned it simple tasks such as killing monsters.
It was already mid-morning, and the double phantom should have been diligently working on its mission, while Aya was still soundly asleep in bed.
This wasn't laziness or exploitation of employees—it was simply the rational use of resources, or so Miss Aya defended.
Or rather, she thought it was foolish to do the work of an adventurer herself after making a name for herself.
"Well, so comfortable." Aya murmured in her sleep, hugging the pillow in her arms. It was cool, soft, and smelled wonderful, making her feel very at ease.
'Mom has no idea that she has a habit of subconsciously hugging things when she sleeps.' Lilith thought as she lay on her side next to Aya, now being hugged in place of the large pillow Aya had kicked away.
Two hours ago, Lilith had tried to wake Aya up but failed, so she had habitually slipped into bed and become a substitute for the pillow.
"Mom's sleeping posture is so cute." Because of habits left over from her previous life, Aya liked to roll back and forth while sleeping, which often resulted in her getting caught by her horns, sometimes even causing a stiff neck when she woke up. Every night before bed, Aya would cast the magic of [Reality Deception] on her horns to prevent this.
"Although I really want to be held like this and look at Mom's sleeping face, it's very late now." Lilith said regretfully.
She still had a lot of work to do and had only planned to stay for a few minutes, but before she knew it, two hours had passed.
It was such a decadent and gentle place.
Lilith blew air slowly into Aya's ears. As expected, Aya's ears began to turn red.
"Well, Lilith, stop it." Aya muttered, perhaps realizing who was playing tricks on her.
"Mom, it's time to get up. Aren't you going out to play with Sister Pleia today?"
"Hmm..." Aya, almost done with her sleep, forced herself to open her sleepy eyes but quickly closed them again.
This was compensation for a missed appointment—originally, Aya had planned to go out with Pleia and Lilith, but they had disagreed over the compensation and finally decided to go separately.
Pleia had asked Aya for a day, but Lilith hadn't figured out what to do yet.
"Mom sleeps so much, like a lazy child." Lilith said coquettishly.
"Mom." Lilith whispered in her ear.
"Yeah." Aya answered subconsciously.
"Let me wake you up~"
"Hmm..." Aya, still half-asleep, seemed to have no idea what Lilith had said and just nodded subconsciously.
"You promised it yourself." Lilith said with a dangerous smile, stretching out her claws.
"Ah!" Aya exclaimed immediately.
"Mom, are you feeling well?"
"Ouch, it's so itchy! Stop it, ah~" Aya twisted her body, trying to escape, but she and Lilith were too close to distance themselves.
"Don't scratch there, hahaha, it's so itchy~" Lilith continued to tickle the sensitive spots on Aya's waist.
"This will wake up even a lazy mother."
"Let me go, ah..."
After struggling, Aya finally escaped from her daughter's grasp and sat up angrily, gasping for breath, her face flushed.
It wasn't that she was very angry, but she felt embarrassed to have shown such a reaction in front of her daughter, as if she had lost all her dignity.
"Ahem." A sound came from the door.
Pleia stood at the doorway, holding a basket that likely contained lunch for today's picnic. Her eyes were slightly cold as she looked at the two on the bed.
Feeling a little guilty under Pleia's gaze, Aya stood up hastily, while Lilith lay peacefully on the bed, showing no sign of shame.
"Mom, let's go." Pleia said, her expression softening into a gentle smile, as if she were used to such scenes.

"Mother, we're almost there." Priya said as Aya slowly sat up and looked out the carriage window at the village not far away.
If they had used the magic of "teleportation," they could have arrived instantly, but that would have defeated the purpose. To enjoy the trip with her daughter, Aya had specially prepared a carriage.
The word "luxurious" wasn't quite enough to describe this carriage. A better word might be "eccentric."
