MCU- CH-299. S for Superman

Mount Olympus, where the Greek gods, long faded from the sight of mortals, had gathered—among them was the god of war, Ares, who was supposed to have been killed by Wonder Woman.

It seemed that, as an older brother, he was simply playing with his younger sister.

After all, he was a formidable figure—one who could chop off Darkseid's clone with his bare hands, wielding the power of war. A true god-level being with divine power, how could he have been so easily defeated by Diana, a demigod?

Although the war had already been near its end when fighting Diana, he had still managed to harness the power of war.

However, the gods didn't gather just for a party. The focus of their discussion was Luke and the series of problems he brought.

"That unknown god who claims to be the Lord of Krypton has placed Earth at the center of a storm. The Earth, which has enjoyed peace for thousands of years, is probably about to be thrust back into chaos!"

"Yes! And the Kryptonian refugees—just by being exposed to the sun, their strength is rapidly increasing. In just a few days, they're nearly surpassing demigods!"

"Apollo, as the God of the Sun, what do you think of the Kryptonian race?"

At Hades' words, all the gods turned their attention to Apollo, eager to hear the opinion of the sun god.

"These beings have the blessing of gods who are the same as me, yet more powerful. And this blessing is not just for one of them but for the entire race."

"How generous is the god who created the Kryptonians to bestow such a gift!" Apollo said with emotion.

Indeed, before he turned evil, Rao could be considered a generous and selfless creator.

However, it was precisely because of this that his love for his creations caused him to feel imbalanced when he realized that his creations were more favored by the universe than he, the creator. M.I.

Yet, there was no turning back. This was the choice of fate. Even the one from the Endless Family had warned him, but he was still deeply trapped in the vortex of destiny.

"The most terrifying of them all is the Kryptonian God. In the sun, I can feel his strength growing at a terrifying pace. It makes me tremble."

"Moreover, from his divinity, I sensed the presence of the solar priesthood, which is similar to mine but... different. His priesthood seems to be higher than mine."

Apollo suddenly spoke again, this time with a hint of fear in his voice.

These words caused Zeus and the other gods around him to exchange looks. They didn't believe Apollo would lie.

"In truth, we live in a remote corner of the universe. We never thought that such a terrifying race existed out there."

"Then what should we do? Should we unite with the gods of other pantheons in the Sky Realm to drive this Kryptonian god from Earth?"

As the center of each universe, Earth had given rise to numerous planetary gods of various pantheons.

The Olympian gods were just one faction. Besides them, there were other pantheons—Chinese gods, Asgardian gods, Roman gods, and more.

"I smell war, and it excites me!" Ares, the god of war, declared with enthusiasm.

For him, as long as there was war, his power was limitless. The larger, more intense, and longer the war, the closer he came to rivaling multi-level gods.

The last time he was so excited was during the war thousands of years ago that brought together the greatest combatants on Earth!

That battle was when he gained the power of war, surpassing even his father, Zeus, the king of gods.

But after the war ended, the power he had gained from war faded, leaving him longing for that strength.

Ignoring Zeus's ban, Ares had incited a mortal war, one that swept across the entire world.

While the familiar power of war returned to him, it was still nowhere near what he had experienced before. It was only a war among mortals, after all, with a limited upper intensity.

"Ares, I will not pursue the matter of your instigation of mortal wars without permission. But if you continue to harbor such thoughts, I will seal you with the power of the gods." Zeus, who had been sitting at the head of the council, spoke.

"Apollo, the Kryptonian god is currently cultivating in the sun. You must try to communicate with him. If he is willing to leave Earth voluntarily, we can avoid unnecessary conflict."

Zeus turned his gaze toward Apollo as he spoke.

"I will find an opportunity to communicate with the Lord of Krypton." Apollo replied, reluctantly accepting the king of the gods' command.

At this time, above Metropolis...

A red and blue figure flew across the sky, eventually landing in front of a burning building.

The raging fire had proven difficult for the firefighters to control.

Heart-wrenching cries and wails echoed from within.

Without hesitation, Clark rushed into the fire. With his super speed, he rescued all the victims trapped inside within seconds.

"Look, it's Superman!"

"Superman saved us again! Thank God, thank you, Superman!"

"He's a hero—a true hero. May God bless him!"

The people Clark saved gazed at the red and blue figure flying between the buildings with gratitude, while many onlookers eagerly snapped photos.

After confirming there was no one else inside the building, Clark took a deep breath.

Then, a freezing cold breath escaped his mouth, and the icy wind extinguished the flames enveloping the building, leaving the area near the origin of the fire covered in a layer of crystal-clear ice.

The scene left everyone watching in awe and amazement.

"Sir, I'll leave the rest to you!" Clark said, turning to a stunned firefighter.

"Oh! Oh! I understand. Thank you, Mr. Superman. If it weren't for you, I don't know how many people would have perished!"

The firefighter, recovering from his shock, thanked Clark fervently.

"Superman! Superman!"

As Clark was about to leave, the crowd on the ground began to cheer enthusiastically.

It was Lois who had first confirmed his title of Superman. After Clark settled Zod and his party, he returned to the farm and shared everything with his mother and Lois.

Finally, he granted Lois an exclusive interview, where he explained that the "S" symbol on his chest represented the El family and symbolized hope.

Lois, associating the "S" with "Superman," coined the name, and from that moment on, Superman's fame began to spread across the world.

As his fame grew, however, many eyes were now fixed on him.
