"We will immediately contact the White House and have the military put on wartime alert to respond to this virus crisis!"

"Now, make sure your Avengers team doesn't let any infected escape!"

"The United States is facing an unprecedented crisis. Fury, as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., you bear an enormous responsibility."

Fury understood that the Avengers on the frontline were their only hope. They were the first and last line of defense.

Meanwhile, in Manhattan, the Avengers and the Fantastic Four were already locked in combat with the zombie heroes.

Quicksilver, however, was in a state of panic as he was relentlessly pursued by Superman. His speed was incredible, but the man in the Superman outfit was just as fast. No matter where Quicksilver tried to escape, Superman was always right behind him.

"Hahahaha! You trash, isn't running your specialty?"

When Quicksilver was intercepted again, Superman let out a terrifying laugh.

After being chased for some time, Quicksilver felt his hunger creeping back. Driven by desperation, he decided to lead Superman toward his zombie allies, with zombie Namor being the first target.

At that moment, Namor was locked in combat with the Fantastic Four, using his control over water to counter the Human Torch's massive fire tornado. However, when he saw Quicksilver running toward him with Superman in pursuit, his fury erupted. He used his powers to trip Quicksilver as he sprinted past a puddle.

Superman, realizing the game of cat and mouse was over, exhaled a sharp, freezing breath, instantly turning everything to ice.

Namor's once-mighty Neptune Trident, which granted him control over the sea, was now powerless. He and Quicksilver were reduced to ice shards with a single strike.

The Fantastic Four stood in stunned silence.

"It turns out there really is a Superman in this world—and he's not just a comic book character!"

The Human Torch gawked in disbelief.

"I am Superman Superman. Remember that, Flame Boy!"

Hearing Johnny's remark, Superman glared and corrected him. Then, he obliterated the frozen Namor and Quicksilver into shards before their eyes.

Elsewhere, the Avengers were struggling against zombie Luke Cage and zombie Moon Knight. Being cautious, they tried to keep their distance and rely on ranged attacks.

Thor, unfortunately, had temporarily returned to Asgard, leaving the team at a disadvantage. Moon Knight, clad in his white cloak, was proving hard to kill, repeatedly resurrecting despite their attacks.

Meanwhile, Luke Cage's indestructible skin rendered most weapons, including Iron Man's beams, Hawkeye's arrows, and Captain America's shield, completely ineffective.

The Hulk wanted to join the fight, eager for hand-to-hand combat, but both Captain America and Tony Stark held him back. The risk of infection was far too great.

"No, Hulk! You cannot come out now!"

Dr. Banner, who had established rudimentary communication with Hulk, tried his best to calm him down.

Just as the Avengers seemed to be running out of options, Superman arrived.

"You people are pathetic. How much effort does it take to deal with two pieces of trash like this?"

Superman didn't hold back his sarcasm. Without hesitation, he delivered a single punch to Luke Cage, shattering his skull like glass.

Zombie Moon Knight, however, proved more challenging. Even after being incinerated by Superman's heat vision, he resurrected again.

"You can't kill me," Moon Knight taunted, "I am blessed by the Moon God Khonshu. I will never die."

"Hmph! Your so-called Moon God Khonshu is nothing but nonsense. There is only one true God—the supreme Kryptonian Lord, His Majesty Luke!"

Superman dismissed Moon Knight's claim with disdain, his loyalty to Luke unwavering.

The Avengers, overhearing Superman mention Krypton, couldn't help but wonder—was this arrogant individual truly Superman?

Despite his immortality, Moon Knight's taunts only fueled Superman's anger. With a freezing breath, he turned Moon Knight into an icy statue, intending to present it as a trophy to his lord, Luke.

However, the Avengers and Fantastic Four had different plans. They wanted to keep Moon Knight as a living specimen for research.

As the others dealt with the aftermath, Tony Stark approached Superboy-Prime to negotiate.

"Uh, Superman—can I call you that? You know, I love comics too, and I absolutely admire your blue tights!"

"Tin Man, it's Superman-Prime. Get it wrong again, and I'll strip you of your metal shell and hang you from that building for the wind to blow!"

Superman's glare was enough to convince Tony he wasn't joking.

"Okay, Mr. Superman-Prime," Tony said, putting on his most diplomatic smile. "I'd like to make a deal. I want to buy that ice sculpture you're holding. Name your price!"

Ever the businessman, Tony was ready to offer any amount to secure Moon Knight.

"This trophy is for the great Kryptonian Lord Luke. Don't even think about it. Keep talking, and I'll introduce you to my fist!"

Superman immediately rejected the proposal.

"Well, that's disappointing," Tony muttered, undeterred. He quickly shifted gears. "How about this, Mr. Superman-Prime? Could you stay and help us deal with this virus crisis? We could use your strength."

Superman was about to refuse when he suddenly heard Luke's voice in his mind, instructing him to stay and assist the Avengers. Though confused, he obeyed without hesitation.

"His Majesty Luke has commanded me to stay and assist you!"

Tony's curiosity was piqued. Who was this "Lord Luke," and why did Superman follow him so fanatically?
