MCU- CH-248. Zombie Avengers

At this moment, he turned to his girlfriend for her opinion.
"Reed, I think you should take a break. Why don't we invite Ben and Johnny for afternoon tea?" Susan suggested, noticing Reed's distress.
She didn't want to interfere too much in her boyfriend's work. All she could do was help him unwind so he could return to his research with a refreshed mind.
"Alright, but are you sure Johnny will make time for tea?" Reed replied with a small smile, deciding to put his dilemma aside for the moment.
Getting Johnny to take a break from his constant escapades was no small feat.
Ever since the cosmic rays transformed the four of them, their lives had been anything but ordinary. Not only had they gained superpowers, but they had also taken on the mantle of superheroes as the Fantastic Four.
Unlike other superheroes who chose to keep their identities hidden, they embraced their roles openly. This was especially true for Johnny, who reveled in the spotlight. As the Human Torch, Johnny ensured that every heroic moment was captured by the media, cementing his place as a celebrity.
With his charming looks and new-found fame, Johnny's popularity skyrocketed, and his romantic life flourished. Susan, though sometimes exasperated by his antics, had learned to let him live his own life.
"Okay, then! Let's call Ben. He's been spending more time with his girlfriend lately." Susan added.
Ben, unlike the rest of the team, had undergone a dramatic physical transformation, becoming a rock-skinned being known as The Thing. This change had initially devastated him, even causing a breakup with his previous girlfriend.
Ben's heartbreak had coincided with one of Doom's schemes, leading him to temporarily give up his powers—a decision that nearly dissolved the Fantastic Four. Thankfully, Ben had reclaimed his strength and, with time, found love again.
Susan soon arranged for Ben to join them, and the four enjoyed a peaceful meal together.
Feeling recharged, Reed returned to the research center. This time, he made up his mind to respond to the mysterious cosmic signal.
"Hello."
These two simple words, sent with great care, marked the first communication between two universes. For a scientist like Reed, this moment was monumental.
In the distant universe of Earth-2149, silence reigned.
Across this desolate cosmos, planets were lifeless, save for thriving vegetation. Ruins and skeletal remains littered the surface of what was once a thriving civilization.
Among the remains, a massive skeleton clad in purple armor stood out—the once-mighty Devourer of Planets, now reduced to nothing but bones.
On the crumbling streets of New York City, where mountains of pale skeletons told of the city's tragic fall, the ruins of Stark Tower loomed in the background.
Inside, Hank Pym, wearing his Ant-Man suit, worked on a large device, surrounded by a macabre sight. Suspended before him were severed heads, grotesque and decayed yet horrifyingly alive.
Among the disfigured faces were recognizable features of Tony Stark, Reed Richards, Victor von Doom, Bruce Banner, Hank McCoy, and Charles Xavier—some of the smartest minds Earth had ever known.
"There's a response! Quickly, lock onto the new cosmic coordinates. I'm starving!" One of the heads screamed.
"Zombie Avengers, assemble!"
The rotting heads howled with delight as the instrument confirmed the signal's origin, their eyes gleaming with bloodthirsty hunger.
This was a universe ravaged by zombies. Its fate had once been sealed by the Watcher, who trapped it in a time loop to prevent its infection from spreading. But now, due to unforeseen changes, this universe was veering off its predestined path.
Back in the main universe at the Baxter Building, Reed waited anxiously.
"The signal is still active, but why hasn't there been a reply?" He muttered, unaware that the hungry zombies had already locked onto his universe's coordinates.
Destiny within the multiverse was beginning to deviate, and chaos loomed on the horizon.
In the zombie universe, the undead had consumed all life and even turned on each other in their insatiable hunger. Ant-Man, however, had proposed a grim solution: keeping humans in captivity to ration their meals and prevent total extinction.
This fragile system had sustained them until now. But with the discovery of a new universe, the zombies could finally expand their reach.
To celebrate, they tore apart the remaining captive humans in a frenzy, devouring them as a prelude to their next feast.
Zombie Sentry, Namor, Quicksilver, Ant-Man, and others gathered before a massive circular device—a space shuttle constructed through the combined efforts of the zombie universe's greatest minds.
Before activating the shuttle, Ant-Man attempted to make a dramatic declaration.
"Guys, are you ready for the feast ahead—"
"Stop wasting time!" The zombie Sentry growled, cutting him off, "I could eat an entire planet right now!"
The others roared in agreement, their hunger driving them to impatience.
With a sinister grin, Ant-Man activated the shuttle. A brilliant white light flashed, leaving the heads behind in the lab.
As silence fell, the decapitated zombie heads realized they had been abandoned.
"Damn that old bastard Pym!" One of them snarled.
"Monsters! They'll get what's coming to them!"
"I curse them never to taste fresh meat again!"
