MCU- CH-245. What is your goal?

First, Eternity learned from Luke, a high-dimensional outsider, about the First Sky—a powerful entity constantly plotting to kill him and reclaim the multiverse. The First Sky loomed over him like a father figure turned nemesis.

Then came the revelation of things beyond all comprehension, forces above and below all creation, which even Eternity himself couldn't fully grasp. That brief moment of understanding had nearly driven him to collapse.

Following that was the arrival of the Transcendent God Clan, beings so overwhelmingly powerful that even Eternity, the God of Creation, felt helpless. They had come alongside Luke in search of a human who could shape the destiny of the cosmos—a revelation that left Luke humiliated.

If not for his role as the Creator God, Eternity might have sought refuge in obscurity to weep away the insult.

Yet, neither the Molecule Man nor Luke seemed to spare a thought for the battered Creator God at that moment.

"That's correct. I'm from eleven years into the future—a time when the Transcendent Gods have already been defeated." The man said, shedding his anonymity.

Hearing this, Eternity perked up, catching onto a crucial detail: the supposed defeat of the powerful Transcendent God Clan. Could it really be because of the human before him?

Luke remained skeptical but didn't dismiss the possibility outright.

"What do you mean by a fate breaker?" Luke asked, shifting focus to the enigmatic title.

"It means someone who exists beyond Supreme Fate, unaffected by any predetermined destiny," Molecule Man replied.

"Time reshapes itself around you, causality reverses because of you, destiny rewrites itself in your presence. All the established rules and the unknown bow to your influence. You are the singular truth amidst countless falsehoods."

Molecule Man's words left Luke momentarily stunned, while Eternity, standing nearby, wore an expression that seemed to ask, "What on Earth are you talking about?"

"Are you serious?" Luke demanded, skepticism lacing his tone.

He muttered to himself, "If I were as extraordinary as you claim, I wouldn't be stuck at the multiverse level, scavenging scraps of power left after the Transcendent Gods' destruction. I'd have punched Dispelia, stepped on the One Below All, and turned the Living Tribunal into my butler. The Five Gods would be doing my laundry."

While Luke dismissed the notion as nonsense, Eternity's eyes lit up in realization. He compared what Molecule Man had said with his own understanding of Luke, and suddenly, it all seemed to click.

"Whether I'm serious or not, you should know better than I do." Molecule Man said calmly, "You're here because of the Transcendent Gods, right? I can help you."

He smoothly redirected the conversation, knowing Luke wasn't ready to embrace his true nature yet.

Despite Eternity's presence, Molecule Man addressed only Luke, entirely ignoring the Creator God. This slight deepened Eternity's feelings of insignificance.

After all, the multiverse belonged to him, yet he felt like a side character in his own crisis.

"How can you help us?" Luke asked warily.

"Take the initiative," Molecule Man replied. "I know how to access the lightless universe where the Transcendent Gods dwell. Additionally, I can help you gather isotopes of myself from other universes to create super weapons. With these, we can even save the multiverse destined for destruction."

Luke listened but remained skeptical. His mind felt overloaded; since stepping into this apartment, all control had been stripped from him. The mysterious future Molecule Man had seized the reins, leaving Jean feeling deeply unsettled.

"How can I trust you?" Jean demanded.

"You don't have a choice." Molecule Man said evenly, "Apart from the One Above All, only I can accomplish this."

Luke clenched his fists. He knew who Molecule Man was referring to and reluctantly acknowledged the other's power. The One Above All and One Below All were mysteries that only omnipotent beings could even begin to comprehend.

After a long silence, Luke asked, "What's in this for you? Surely, you're not helping me out of the goodness of your heart. What's your real goal?"

Molecule Man's expression shifted, "Goal? I don't have one. The power I possess is enough to accomplish anything I desire. But that's not what I want."

He paused, his voice tinged with emotion, "When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a magician. But without the talent, I had to settle for a mundane life. I worked at ACME Atomic Company for twelve years, utterly invisible to everyone around me. I thought my life would waste away in monotony.

"But fate had other plans. An accident altered my molecular structure, giving me control over matter. At first, I thought I could use my power to control the world, to finally be noticed."

"Then came Reed Richards and his friends, who stopped me at every turn. I was desperate to make a name for myself, so I did foolish, reckless things."

"Later, a meddlesome boy from the Beyond Gods arrived and nearly obliterated the entire multiverse. In the end, it was I who fought him."
