The emotions of humans are also the richest and most vibrant.

Perhaps it is this very complexity that draws the attention of many higher beings across the universe.

"You've never interacted with humans before, so you might find it a bit uncomfortable." Luke remarked, noticing Eternity's expression.

As the almighty creator god, Eternity had never imagined himself mingling so closely with mortals.

Despite suppressing his vast power to the utmost, the proximity to human minds made it impossible for him to avoid perceiving the constant barrage of thoughts emanating from everyone around them.

"No, humans are no different from other living beings to me." Eternity replied, his tone detached.

In his eyes, humans might have unique traits, but ultimately, they were the same as any other creatures.

To Eternity, who embodied the multiverse itself, all living beings were like his children—or perhaps mere parasites inhabiting his expanse.

In essence, there was little distinction between the two.

"Hi, boys! Can we get to know each other? My name's Elena!"

A striking woman in her twenties, dressed provocatively, approached Luke and Eternity with a bold smile.

Her gaze lingered on both men, scanning them hungrily. As she did, a faint red glimmer flickered in her eyes.

'God of Darkness, I never expected such luck! These two are prime prey—their auras are intoxicating!'

Elena's lips curled in a satisfied smile. She couldn't believe her fortune.

A dark creature and vampire, Elena had lived for over six centuries. Through black magic, she had overcome her vulnerability to sunlight, and the dark aura that typically shrouded her kind was nearly undetectable.

With her youthful appearance and alluring figure, she had entranced countless young men, who often ended up warming her stomach.

Yet, Elena never completely drained her prey. She preferred savoring their essence slowly, a strategy that kept her off the radar of vampire hunters.

Now, standing before Luke and Eternity, she was overwhelmed by an irresistible attraction. The two seemed to radiate a power that made her salivate.

Luke, noticing Elena's intense stare, felt speechless.

Ordinarily, he would have driven her away without hesitation, but curiosity got the better of him. He wanted to see how Eternity, the God of Creation, would respond to such an encounter.

"Chthon, take care of your follower!"

Eternity didn't confront Elena directly but sent a sharp warning to her patron deity, the dark god Chthon.

Chthon, who had been quietly observing events from afar, was immediately alarmed by the warning.

"What did I do? Why is the great Eternity dissatisfied?" Chthon muttered, utterly baffled.

However, when he investigated the causal threads, he discovered the vampire, Elena, attempting to target Luke and Eternity.

"Why me?!"

Chthon was utterly exasperated. While vampires were indeed a byproduct of his influence through the Darkhold, these low-level creatures had long since been beneath her notice.

But now, he found herself apologizing to avoid further offense.

Descending briefly into Elena's body, Chthon took control, forced her to apologize to Luke and Eternity, and then promptly withdrew.

Meanwhile, several men with ill intent who had been following Elena lingered nearby. Perhaps trouble awaited them instead.

Luke led Eternity to an aging apartment complex.

"Who are we meeting here?" Eternity asked.

Luke, hiding his true motives, hadn't disclosed that the key to their quest lay with Owen Reese, the Molecule Man.

"You'll see." Luke replied, leading Eternity to a specific door.

Before he could knock, the door swung open, revealing a man with lightning-like scars on his face. He wore a light-colored striped shirt, had short, spiky brown hair, and thin cheeks. His eyes glimmered like distant stars.

Owen Reese.

Something about him felt off to Luke. Reese seemed to be expecting their arrival, though he shouldn't have possessed such awareness at this stage.

Luke's unease deepened when Owen spoke.

"Finally, I meet you—the Destiny Breaker." Owen said, his voice carrying an unfamiliar weight.

Luke immediately realized the figure before him was not the true Owen Reese but someone else inhabiting his body.

"Who are you?" Luke asked sharply, dropping all pretenses.

Eternity, confused by Luke's sudden shift in demeanor, looked on in bewilderment.

"Wasn't this the person we were looking for?" Eternity thought, growing tired of the constant twists.

The man standing before them smiled faintly.

"I am Owen Reese. Or Molecule Man, if you prefer. Names don't particularly matter to me." He said casually.

Luke wasn't convinced, "We came for Owen Reese, yes. But you—whatever you are—are not him. Who are you, really?"

Eternity's expression hardened as he finally understood. Their target's body had been taken over by an outsider.

Eternity prepared to use his power to expel the invader, but before he could act, the man tilted his head and locked his starry gaze onto Eternity.

Eternity froze, unable to move.

For the first time, the almighty creator god felt powerless. Humiliation and frustration churned within him.

For billions of years, Eternity had presided over the multiverse, unchallenged in his authority.

Yet, ever since meeting Luke, his reality had been upended time and again.

It now seemed as though anyone could undermine his power.
