MCU- CH-210. Demon Lords appears

The appearance of Luke made the demons who were fighting stop what they were doing and stare at him blankly.

However, after noticing the horns on Luke's head and the pair of scarlet devil eyes, most of the low-level demons assumed he was a high-ranking demon.

Two high-ranking demons, on the verge of breaking through to the cosmic level, stopped fighting and flew in front of Luke. Due to the difference in strength, they couldn't gauge his true power, but sensed he was unusual. One of them spoke politely:

"Brother, which lord's command do you serve? I don't recall seeing you before."

Though they couldn't feel any demonic aura from him, they reasoned that in a place like hell, only a devil-like being would wander freely. Luke certainly looked the part, so the demon leader assumed Luke was one of their own.

"As for me! I'm not yet a commander, but I'm here to seek an alliance with Mephisto. I might even ask him for a commander's role!" Luke replied, mentioning Mephisto, one of his main targets in Hell.

"What?"

Hearing this, the two demon leaders, who had been fighting each other moments ago, were startled.

"Why, are you surprised I'd choose Mephisto?" Luke asked, noticing their shock.

"No, brother. It's just that with your strength, why would you want to follow Mephisto?"

"That's right! According to Lord Lucifer, he's offended a terrifying power and is now in grave danger. Most of his demon army has already deserted him!"

"Brother, going to Mephisto now isn't a wise choice."

The two demon commanders had one goal in mind: to recruit Luke into their own ranks.

"Oh! I didn't know that. Who exactly did Mephisto provoke?" Luke asked, genuinely surprised. He had thought his grudge against Mephisto was personal, but it seemed the demon lord had managed to anger someone formidable.

"Oh! We don't know the being's exact name. But Lord Lucifer said this being nearly killed the Demon King of Crimson Hell."

"Yes, even Lord Beelzebub seemed horrified while discussing it."

"Any being capable of terrifying the demon lords would likely reduce us to ashes with a mere breath!"

As Luke listened, he realized they were unknowingly talking about him.

However, Luke couldn't fathom how Hell had come to know of his vendetta with Mephisto. He hadn't told anyone about his plans to settle things with the demon lord.

What Luke didn't know was that after he had killed Cyttorak, without fulfilling his treasure chest mission, his intense hatred turned toward Mephisto.

Mephisto, as a great demon in the multiverse, had some heightened senses and had performed a costly ritual to determine the source of the malice directed his way. He saw the image of a figure he both coveted and feared. With just one look, Mephisto hastily ended his spying, not daring to glance a second time.

Countless gods and beings across the multiverse had their eyes on Luke, so he hadn't noticed Mephisto's attempt to spy on him.

After confirming the threat, Mephisto felt a deep, chilling fear. The horrific fate of Cyttorak seemed to predict his own. Regret surged through him—not for provoking Luke but for not attempting a full-scale invasion with his true body and demon legions. If he had, he might have had a chance to steal Luke's body, preventing the current predicament.

In hindsight, Luke's strength confirmed that Mephisto's initial instincts were correct. It was likely Luke who had defeated Cyttorak. The regret gnawed at Mephisto.

Mephisto, a master of deals and deception, felt he had never suffered such a loss in all his millennia. Not only had he lost an invaluable avatar, but he had created a powerful, relentless enemy.

He considered fleeing Hell, but his powers were rooted in this dimension. Leaving would mean he'd be at others' mercy. Given his notorious reputation, he knew enemies would hunt him down if he were vulnerable.

With escape impossible, and lacking the strength to confront Luke directly, Mephisto turned to other hell lords for help.

Despite his pride, he humbled himself, pleading for support from great demon lords such as Tog, Satanish, Lucifer, Beelzebub, Asmodeus, and Oliver.

Seeing the once-proud Mephisto reduced to this state, these demon lords mocked him, divided his army among themselves, but eventually agreed to combine forces against Luke.

However, there was a condition: they would only act if Luke entered Hell. If Mephisto ventured outside and was captured by Luke, they would not intervene.

In their view, Mephisto might be a competitor, but he was still one of Hell's own. No matter how powerful Luke was, he was an outsider. If Luke invaded Hell, it would be an affront to the entire infernal realm, which could not be tolerated.

While Luke pondered all this, the Hell dimension began to quake, and one hell lord after another descended, exuding fearsome power.

Luke's entry into Hell had triggered alarms. Upon sensing him, the hell lords quickly communicated and converged on his position.

Thirteen powerful demons at different levels assembled—fruit of Mephisto's plea.

Mephisto's ideal outcome was to force Luke to retreat. Direct confrontation was a last, desperate resort.

At this moment, the low-level demons, sensing an immensely terrifying aura, were driven to the brink of insanity; the weaker ones even exploded into clouds of blood mist!

To such lowly beings, even a demon leader was something extraordinary. And here were thirteen Hell Lords.

Many of these lesser demons took their own lives with fanatic gazes, dying without regret. To them, every Hell Lord was akin to a god. Seeing such a divine assembly made death seem almost fulfilling.

"What...what on earth is happening? Why...are all the lords...appearing here?"

"I...I don't know either!"

Nearby, two demon commanders who had just been chatting with Luke were so frightened that their words came out stammered and garbled. Though they were high-level demons, they had never seen so many Hell Lords gathered in one place.

"What a major event this is!"

The two commanders turned their heads stiffly toward Luke.

"Brother, aren't you afraid? In the tens of thousands of years since I was born, I've never seen more than two lords gather at once!"

"That's right! Now there are thirteen lords here. Could this mean the multiverse is planning to invade Hell?"

They still assumed Luke was an ordinary young man. But in the next moment, they froze as though they'd been turned to stone.

Luke shouted directly at Mephisto in the distance, "Mephisto! Have you washed your old goat's neck?"
