MCU- CH-199. The Leaders

The group of leaders gathered to discuss a desperate plan to save the universe, but as the conversation went on, they found themselves sinking further into despair.

It seemed as though the universe's fate was already sealed, and no matter what they did, destruction was inevitable.

"At worst, we'll perish together. Our empire still has a super-negative energy bomb capable of wiping out an area of 10 light-years. That will be our last resort."

"Even if we're doomed, we'll take a piece of them with us." One commander declared resolutely.

"No, it's not time for that. Have you forgotten the existence of that person on Dispelia?" A calm voice suddenly interjected, startling everyone.

Luke's existence was a top secret among the major cosmic empires. Facing this cosmic crisis, they had indeed considered reaching out to Luke for help.

However, except for Asgard, they hadn't had much contact with him. He had visited Xandar before, but he'd left without forming any strong alliances.

"But he hasn't shown himself. Maybe he doesn't care whether this universe survives or falls."

"I don't believe that; otherwise, he wouldn't have gone through the effort of creating Dispelia!"

"Moreover, Jean, the one wielding the Phoenix Force on Dispelia, is out there fighting right now!"

"Could it be that Luke is tied up with something else and unable to intervene in this battle?"

"It's possible, but not likely."

"Think about it—someone of his power could even stand against a being as terrifying as Galactus. What could possibly hold him back?"

"Maybe." Another chimed in, "We should place our hopes on the Phoenix host on Dispelia. She hasn't succumbed to the Dark Phoenix, after all."

"You're suggesting we help her defeat the other Dark Phoenixes, so she can absorb and control the full power of the Phoenix?"

"But who's to say she won't lose control?"

The group continued their debate, yet no concrete solution emerged.

"I agree that we should support Jean on Dispelia. We're cornered; we have to use everything we have or work together."

"Agreed. We have nothing to lose at this point."

"Yes. If failure means death anyway, why not gamble for even a slim chance of success?"

Gradually, the interstellar commanders reached a consensus.

"Don't get too optimistic yet." Someone cautioned.

"What do you mean? You were in agreement a moment ago. Why the change?"

"I'm just saying—with our current forces, are we even in a position to aid Jean?"

"You all saw the battle. That Black Phoenix obliterated hundreds of thousands of our ships with a single strike. Her power can tear through anything."

"If these super-beings keep fighting, what can our warships possibly achieve?"

At these words, the group's briefly revived morale dropped once more.

"Whether or not it makes a difference, we have to take a stand. It's the least we can do."

These words resonated deeply. Compared to the god-like beings outside, they were painfully weak. Even though they controlled forces spanning entire galaxies, quantity was not quality.

The imperial commanders understood this truth best. Weakness was a curse, but it wasn't a reason to cower. Even knowing the potential for ruin, they had to move forward.

On the battlefield, things began to escalate.

Earlier, the phoenix battles had caused significant destruction, but it was mostly confined to the material level. However, as the Phoenix power built up, it led to a critical change. Now, the Black Phoenixes had become human-shaped annihilation engines, affecting space, time, and dimensions on a colossal scale.

Their clash inevitably attracted the attention of powerful beings from other dimensions.

"The Phoenix Force… I wonder how it stacks up against Chthon's chaos magic. Now that all Phoenix hosts in the multiverse have gathered, I'll claim that power myself!"

Usually confined to his Crimson Universe, Cyttorak—the strongest demon—now took interest in the Phoenix Force.

He knew that the Phoenix hosts were converging, drawn like moths to a flame.

While Luke's name was known among multiverse powerhouses,Cyttorak didn't particularly fear him. After all, he held the title of Lord of the Crimson Hell, a reputation honed over millions of years.

"Haha! Cyttorak, that fool, rushing in without caution. He doesn't even know the extent of this Phoenix's strength."

"Well, let him test the waters. The power of the Phoenix and the lost magic force will ultimately belong to me."

In a chaotic realm filled with dark, terrifying magic, the underworld god Chthon's consciousness stretched far across dimensions.

Known for his cunning and insidious nature, Chthon was the very instigator of ancient conflicts between the second-generation gods and the serpent god Set. Unlike Set, who narrowly escaped obliteration, Chthon was a master of manipulation.

Though he, too, had been expelled from the multiverse by the God Eater, Chthon's situation was far superior to Set's, who was left wandering the realms beyond.

Even so, Chthonhad attained the power of chaos, one of the three primordial forces, and used it to craft the dreadful chaos magic.

But he knew he wasn't the true master destined to wield that chaotic power, so he waited, searching for the one it would choose.

After eons across time and space, Chthon finally saw Wanda, the one who would embody chaos magic in the future, and realized that she was the vessel he had awaited.

Now, he simply needed her to be born, so he could channel his chaos magic into her. Gradually, he'd guide her along, and when the time was right, he'd fully possess her, claiming everything as his own.

But Chthon's ambition didn't end there. His ultimate goal was to master the three primordial forces and achieve transcendence beyond all limits.
