MCU- CH-185. Should we kill him!
Added 2024-10-25 04:25:25 +0000 UTCIt took the First Sky several cosmic epochs to repair the damage he had suffered after he left. When he chose to return, he found that the fragments that fell from his body had evolved into a multiverse. So, he began to watch the evolution of the multiverse. As he watched, this super god felt unbalanced in his heart. Every era of the multiverse was so vibrant, and each generation of multiverse entities lived a more prosperous life than him, the original source.
At the very least, they would not rebel against the slaves they created with their own hands. They could live peacefully until the end of the universe and then usher in the end and rebirth. Therefore, the idea of taking the multiverse back into his own mind naturally emerged.
However, the multiverse had gone through seven cosmic eras of development, and it was not so easy to reclaim it now. Although the multiverse was tiny compared to the superuniverse, the omniverse, and even the realm of transcendence, it was an unshakable cornerstone.
If the First Sky wanted to move the multiverse, the existence standing at the top of the entire Marvel Universe would not just sit and watch. After all, according to what Luke knew, the First Sky did indeed take advantage of the final end of the Seventh Cosmic Era, when Eternity was at its weakest, to attack the multiverse.
First, he imprisoned Eternity, then prepared to take over the multiverse. Just when he was about to succeed, he was severely taught a lesson by OAA. However, Luke would not tell Eternity about this because the treasure chest charging progress bar was already full.
"Have you seen the future of this universe? Or is your appearance in my universe a reversal of time?" Eternity, who had been silent for a long time, suddenly asked Luke.
He reviewed all the actions Luke had taken since appearing in this world, and it was obvious that Luke understood the development trajectory of everything in the universe. There were only two possibilities: one, that Luke had the ability to see through the trajectory of fate, which wasn't surprising; but if combined with Luke's soul from an unknown dimension, it would be different.
The second possibility was that Luke saw the future of the universe from the so-called comics in his own world. This also raised another question: if the future of the universe had already been portrayed in Luke's world, did Luke's appearance mean his soul was from a more distant future but simply inserted into the present?
"This doesn't really make any sense. Even if I have seen the destiny of this universe, I don't exist in the future that I originally saw." Luke said.
Eternity was stunned. He understood what Luke meant. After all, he had witnessed the birth and destruction of countless parallel universes with his own eyes. He was just momentarily confused because of what Luke had said about the First Sky.
However, after hearing Luke's response, Eternity no longer planned to stay. He left, full of sorrow. No one would be happy to learn that the incarnation of a multiverse entity was formed from fragments of someone else's body. Eternity needed time to digest the ancient secrets Luke had shared, and he also had to discuss with his brothers and sisters how to deal with the First Sky, hidden in the dark.
With Eternity's departure, the world he had constructed collapsed instantly, and Luke returned to his original place.
"Luke, the one you defeated should be Galactus!"
"He actually targeted Dispelia, but how come he disappeared in the blink of an eye?" At this moment, Thor flew over. Although he had never seen Galactus in person before, Asgard had records of this great god. He had been about to help Luke fight, but suddenly Galactus and Luke had both vanished, only for Luke to reappear without Galactus.
"Eternity took him away." Luke said straightforwardly.
"Eternity... Eternity, you're talking about *that* Eternity?" Thor was stunned, thinking he had misheard the name. He pointed into the void.
"Of course. Galactus is his brother, so it's only natural for him to come and take him back." Luke replied.
"No, no! Luke, you actually saw him? What does he look like?" For Thor, beings like Galactus and Eternity were only mentioned in the oldest records of Asgard, and even those were just a few lines.
"There's nothing special about him. He can be whatever you imagine him to be." Luke said.
Cosmic entities like Eternity do not have a fixed form. When Thor heard this, he felt as though Luke had answered him yet said nothing, leaving him speechless.
"Hey, who's this silver guy?" Thor asked, noticing the listless Silver Surfer.
"He's Galactus' scout, looking for planets for Galactus to devour."
Eternity had taken Galactus because he regarded him as his brother, but the Silver Surfer wasn't even a consideration for him, so naturally, he had no right to be taken along.
"What? This lackey of Galactus, should we kill him?" Thor asked, knowing Galactus' terrible reputation for devouring entire planets. As Galactus' herald, the Silver Surfer helped find planets to be devoured, essentially making him an accomplice. Thor was ready to kill him.
"No need. This guy is pitiful. He became Galactus' herald out of necessity." Luke said and proceeded to explain the Silver Surfer's story to Thor.
Even after hearing it, Thor still wasn't sympathetic toward him. But to Luke, it made sense. The Silver Surfer had sacrificed other planets to protect his home world. If he hadn't become Galactus' herald, someone else would have, and his home planet would have been destroyed.
The existence of Galactus was necessary to maintain balance in the multiverse. If Galactus ever fully satisfied his hunger, this balance would collapse, and Galactus might even face judgment from the Living Tribunal.
Luke brought the Silver Surfer back to Dispelia. Everything remained calm and peaceful, as if nothing had happened. But his heroic image was now deeply imprinted in the minds of every resident of Dispelia.
