MCU- CH-181. Silver Surfer

Everything was ready, and naturally, it was time to hold a banquet. The elves brought out all their most treasured wines and drinks.

Yao looked at Luke in front of her and couldn't help but sigh, noting that he had reached a level comparable to Vishanti, her former boss. She recalled the first time Luke had come to Kamar-Taj seeking advice on magic. Even some of the futures she had glimpsed through the Time Stone had been altered by Luke's sheer power.

At one point, Yao had asked Vishanti whether Luke's abnormal growth aligned with the natural laws of the universe. The response she received was simple: if the universe allowed Luke to exist, then no matter how unreasonable it seemed, it would be forced to make it reasonable. From that point on, Yao never questioned anything related to Luke again, and it was a significant reason for her eventual decision to relinquish the Time Stone.

"Luke, this is the gift that His Majesty Vishanti asked me to deliver, congratulating you on the completion of your kingdom of God." When everyone was settled, Yao presented something that Vishanti had given her long ago.

"The Book of Vishanti? Isn't this artifact more suitable for your lineage of Supreme Sorcerers?" Luke observed the magic book wrapped in a dazzling light that Yao handed to him.

"Your Majesty made this specifically to congratulate you on the establishment of your kingdom of God. There is no personal mark from Vishanti on it." Yao explained. As a master of magic, she could feel the immense power within the newly gifted Book of Vishanti. Anyone who could possess it would soon surpass her entirely.

Though she knew this gift was part of maintaining a relationship between her boss and Luke, Yao couldn't help feeling a slight dissatisfaction with Vishanti's willingness to part with such an item.

"Since it's Vishanti's good intention, I'll accept it." Luke responded, taking the book and immediately throwing it into his system space.

After seeing Yao present her gift, Thor felt awkward, unsure whether to keep holding his wine glass or set it down. He hadn't thought to bring a gift, especially since Luke had already taken most of the valuable treasures from Asgard's vault. The few remaining items were things Luke wouldn't care for. The only notable things left were his upgraded Stormbreaker and Loki's Spear of Eternity, but those were personal weapons.

Thor looked to Loki for help, but his brother averted his gaze, pretending not to notice. As for the four warriors of Asgard, they were thoroughly engrossed in the feast. Thor's face flushed for the first time in ages, embarrassed at his lack of a suitable offering.

Just as Thor was about to sink into despair, the dwarves arrived, and not only did they come, they brought a massive creation with them.

"Your Majesty, as per your request, our dwarven tribe has crafted the central energy battery container you needed." Announced Eitri, the Dwarf King, in a humble tone.

When Eitri first met Luke, he had seen him more as an equal, unaware of Luke's escalating power. But in the twenty years since that first meeting, Luke's strength had grown far beyond anything the dwarves could comprehend. Odin had once been the most powerful god-king in their eyes, and now, even Thor had surpassed his father. Luke, however, was several levels stronger than Thor.

As a result, when Luke requested materials, the dwarves used their most precious resources, accumulated over millennia. They weren't warriors; they found joy in forging. This creation was their business card, proof of their skill, and their means to secure Luke's protection.

The artifact before them took longer to forge than anything in the dwarves' recent history, even surpassing the effort put into making Odin's Spear of Eternity. It was a creation backed by the collective strength of all of Nidavellir.

Luke looked at the massive container standing over ten meters tall, shaped like a grand lamp, and felt satisfaction wash over him. The craftsmanship was extraordinary.

"Eitri, well done. The quality is beyond my expectations." Luke said. Eitri's face lit up with pride and honor. Every ounce of effort he and his people had put into the project felt worthwhile now. The dwarves had only their unmatched forging skills to boast about, and Luke's praise was their greatest reward.

"Eitri, if your people are willing, there will always be a place for you in my kingdom of God." Luke added, understanding the motivation behind the dwarves' dedication.

"Yes, of course, Your Majesty. We would be honored." Eitri replied, his strong frame trembling with joy, his bearded face breaking into a wide smile.

Soon, the dwarves joined in the festivities. The banquet was in full swing, and everyone reveled in the celebration. But amidst the joy, a silver light pierced through space, arriving just outside Apocalypse.

A figure, covered head to toe in what seemed like liquid mercury, stood atop a silver glider.

"When did such a planet, brimming with life, appear in this place?" The figure muttered.

"The life energy here is unprecedented. Perhaps it will serve well as food for my master."

The Silver Surfer sensed the overwhelming life energy emanating from Apocalypse and felt certain he could finally satisfy the Devourer of Worlds.

"I should investigate what's happening on this planet." He muttered to himself.

Riding his silver board, Silver Surfer sped toward Apocalypse, only to slam into an invisible barrier. Momentarily confused, he paused to assess the situation. His board was a powerful tool, a cosmic weapon that allowed him to traverse space without hindrance. It was also the source of his powers. Since being gifted with cosmic energy by Galactus, the Silver Surfer and his board had formed a symbiotic relationship, enabling him to travel freely across the universe.

Instantly, Silver Surfer realized that the ruler of this place was no ordinary being. But when he recalled that his master, Galactus, was the great Devourer of Planets, he shrugged off any concern. More importantly, Galactus was starving, and his voice echoed in his mind, urging him on.

Determined, the Silver Surfer decided to summon his master to prepare for the feast. Just as he was about to send a signal to Galactus, he noticed a man standing nearby, his head adorned with horns and his eyes glowing a menacing scarlet.

"Silver Surfer, now that you're here, why don't you come down and join us for a chat?" The man said calmly.

Silver Surfer froze for a moment. He was startled that the stranger knew his identity, but instead of attacking, he decided to remain cautious.

"You know who I serve." Silver Surfer replied, his voice cold and emotionless, "Prepare to welcome the arrival of the Devourer of Worlds. If you can escape now, I suggest you do."

Over the years, the Silver Surfer had grown accustomed to witnessing the destruction of countless planets. The devastation had numbed his emotions, leaving him with only a small trace of lingering pity for those he encountered.
