MCU- CH-178. Fulfilling the promises
Added 2024-10-22 04:33:00 +0000 UTCThe former Ego, renamed Apocalypse by Luke, unexpectedly helped Luke complete the Omega Effect. Before that, Luke had even placed the World Tree on it. This planet, which was once filled with the power of the god Ego, is now nourished by the World Tree. It has become the most suitable location to serve as his divine kingdom.
Now, Luke was preparing to officially unveil his kingdom in the universe. However, before doing so, he needed to create a perfect cosmic environment. Luke flew directly to the center of the universe. The space was eerily silent, and even the sun seemed dim and lifeless.
However, as the master of the multiverse's solar god power, Luke could easily transform a sun into its healthiest, most vibrant state. With a simple gesture, the dead planets surrounding the sun were annihilated, leaving only those still capable of sustaining life.
Next, Luke opened a portal to the alien dimension, releasing Apocalypse from it and adjusting its orbit to begin normal operation. In an instant, the mountains, rivers, forests, and grasslands of Apocalypse Star burst into new vitality. Ego's brain, once filled with consciousness, was now completely under Luke's control. To solidify his dominion, Luke separated a part of his spirit and fused it with Ego's consciousness, turning it into a being akin to Gaia.
"I feel like something is missing. What do you think, Venom?" Luke asked as he gazed at the paradise-like Apocalypse, yet he couldn't shake the feeling that it lacked something crucial.
"Master, is it possible that the temple bearing your great mark has not been built yet?" Venom responded thoughtfully.
At Venom's words, Luke suddenly realised the missing piece. Of course! Even Asgard had the Golden Palace, a grand temple that symbolized its power and reputation. How could Luke's domain be without one?
Raising his hand, Luke commanded the mountains and rivers to shift, the rivers flowing backward, and in an instant, a massive building rose from the ground. It towered into the clouds, crowned with a black dragon ready to soar, a representation of Luke himself. To make the statue more lifelike, Luke plucked one of his own scales and embedded it into the structure. Then, his eyes emitted two scarlet rays that left a gigantic Omega symbol hovering in the air, its form glowing like flowing magma.
Today, Luke had become a well-known figure in the multiverse, and every action he took easily garnered attention from other gods.
"That's the corpse of Ego, and the World Tree. Could it be that this powerful god has finally decided to build his divine realm?"
"Is that symbol a manifestation of the rules he governs?"
"Do you think we could serve under this great god?"
"Forget it! I still tremble when I think about how he killed dozens of cosmic gods with a single punch. This man defies the will of heaven. He'll make many enemies in the multiverse. I advise you not to involve yourself in that mess."
"You're right. Don't forget, nine members of the Celestial God Group were killed. I can't believe they'll just let that slide. Their revenge will come sooner or later. With your strength, you'd just be cannon fodder!"
"And let's not forget the Death Titan who passed the God's Quarry test, and Mephisto from the Hell Dimension. This great god has enemies everywhere. Even if his divine realm is established, there will be no peace."
"For people like us, we should just wait patiently for a chance to ascend to higher levels!"
Despite their recognition of Luke's power, most of the gods believed that aligning themselves with him wouldn't grant them his protection. However, a few had a different perspective. They saw in Luke a god who had risen at unprecedented speed, and they believed that his potential was far from exhausted. They speculated that, if Luke could transcend the multiverse, perhaps they could benefit from his success.
Still, even the tempted gods were cautious, opting to wait and see how events unfolded.
"Venom, choose a place for your symbiote clan to settle!" Luke ordered, "Also, place the entrance to the Living Abyss beneath my temple. I've prepared a suitable space for you there."
Venom, holding his clone child in his arms, eagerly selected an area closest to the temple as the future home for his symbiote clan. Although the child's genetic sequence was incomplete, Venom had a special fondness for him as his first offspring. He was confident that once he fully decoded the genetic template authorized by Luke, he could create the perfect symbiote suit for the child, compensating for any defects.
"Now, it's time to fulfill the promises we made to the elves and mutants!" Luke declared.
With a mere thought, Luke disappeared, reappearing moments later in the familiar kingdom of the elves—Alfheim.
It had been a long time since Luke had placed the mutants willing to follow him here. After all, he was still king of the Elf Kingdom, and he had agreed to Jean's request to take care of them. However, the cosmic wars had left him little time to tend to their needs.
Surveying the unchanged landscape, with the scent of fresh grass and trees lingering in the air, Luke could tell that the elves had maintained the environment well.
"I thought you, the great god renowned across the universe, had forgotten about us!" Sylph, the elven queen, said as she noticed Luke's arrival. Her tone was more reproachful than reverent, despite his newfound power.
"Long time no see! You've become even more beautiful." Luke responded with a laugh, brushing aside her comment.
"I wonder, Luke, have you come back this time to bring us more neighbors or for some other reason?" Sylph asked directly, knowing Luke's tendencies.
"My divine kingdom has been established. This time, I've come to officially invite the elves to move to my kingdom, Apocalypse. What do you think?" Luke offered.
Sylph was taken aback by the proposal but quickly broke into a smile. The past wars had left the elven kingdom anxious, and the Nine Realms were no longer what they once were. The elves had been eagerly awaiting Luke's return.
"I'm sure the elves will be overjoyed to hear this news." Sylph replied warmly.
"Then spread the word. I must go meet with my mutant servants." Luke said, taking off towards the settlement designated for the mutants.
