MCU- CH-171. Jean is ready to compete

At the moment when the six stones gathered together, Luke felt that everything in the universe was under his control. It seemed that with just a thought, he could effortlessly wipe out everything and easily bring out the destruction and rebirth of the entire universe. Luke understood that this was no illusion; he truly possessed this ability now.

Although Luke had already had the power to destroy the universe with a single blow before acquiring the six stones, it would not have been as easy as it was now.

"What a wonderful feeling! In this universe, I am now omniscient and omnipotent!"

"Although this feeling is exhilarating, I want more than just this. The multiverse is merely the beginning. Shallow waters can never contain a true dragon."

Looking at the six glowing stones embedded in the Infinity Gauntlet, Luke sighed.

The gathering of the Infinity Stones had attracted the attention of many ancient beings across the multiverse.

"I wonder what this black dragon is planning to do with these stones?"

"At least he won't be like the plaything Titans, creating destruction to please Death."

"Perhaps he'll become addicted to the omniscience and omnipotence of the power, just like those demons that merged with the dimensions."

Most of the ancient gods believed that Luke might be seduced by the power of the Infinity Stones, becoming entrapped in the dream of mastering ultimate power and unable to free himself.

"No, I don't think so. In my opinion, we might be welcoming one of our own soon!" A different point of view was suddenly voiced by one of the ancient gods.

"You mean, he will truly ascend to a higher level of existence and enter the multidimensional level?"

"That shouldn't be possible. This black dragon wasn't born divine. It was difficult enough for him to join the ranks of cosmic gods. Could he rise again in such a short time? That's unprecedented!"

"Yes, though his power may have surpassed many beings of our level, mere power does not equate to a higher form of life."

"Those who transcend the multiverse are either born holy or favored by it. Which of these does this black dragon have?"

The unique perspective immediately piqued the interest of the ancient beings, leading to a flurry of questions.

"Have you forgotten the original fate of the universe in which the black dragon resides? Even the multiverse has been affected in varying degrees."

With this remark, all the gods in the universe fell silent, contemplating.

"In fact, there's no need for us to argue. The stones are in his hands now. Let's simply wait and see what he does!"

At this, the cosmic gods lost interest in continuing the debate.

Luke, unaware of the ancient beings' discussions in a hidden dimension of the multiverse, focused on his next steps.

"Congratulations, Your Majesty the God King!"

"What a brilliant, dazzling light!"

As Luke rose from the endless ocean below, now adorned with the fully empowered Infinity Gauntlet, Hela immediately knelt on one knee to pay her respects.

Hela had already begun addressing Luke differently. After all, according to him, she would continue to serve as the primary god in charge of death under his reign.

"Get up! You're one of us now. There's no need for such formalities. I don't like it." Luke said.

Hearing this, Hela respectfully stood up.

"Let's go, Hela. We have to return to Earth first!" Luke didn't immediately use the Infinity Stones to fulfill his plan. Instead, he opened a portal back to Earth.

After all, he had borrowed one of the Time Stones from the Ancient One, and what he intended to do would cause all the Infinity Stones in this universe to vanish completely. This was something he needed to inform the Ancient One about. Whether she would ask for the return of the stone was irrelevant to Luke. With the Ancient One's wisdom, he believed she wouldn't make such a foolish demand.

On Earth, ever since Jean had helped the Ancient One eliminate the vanguard of the cancerous universe's invasion, she had stayed at Kamar-Taj as per Luke's instructions.

Although Jean was somewhat reluctant, as she still wanted to be by Luke's side, she followed his wishes obediently.

Moreover, Earth had not been peaceful since the invasion. The attack of the polyhedrons had left a lasting impact. During previous battles, some ordinary people had been mentally polluted by the polyhedrons, whose gaze remained upon them. As time passed, these individuals began to exhibit signs of mutation.

The only option was to take these people to Kamar-Taj for isolation and treatment. Even with the Ancient One's vast powers, she could not fully eradicate the mental corruption plaguing these individuals. Through their mental connection, the Ancient One had glimpsed the terrifying polygonal outer gods, whose mere presence was unnerving.

Caught off guard, the Ancient One herself was momentarily affected, but she acted swiftly, sacrificing part of her soul to contain the tainted individuals. Now, she was slowly using the power of Vishanti to repair the damaged portions of her soul.

During this period, Jean had practically assumed the role of the Supreme Sorcerer in all but name.

At that moment, a familiar spatial fluctuation was heard, and Jean and the Ancient One disappeared from the room in an instant.

"Teacher, you're finally back!" Jean exclaimed excitedly as she ran to Luke, but her eyes quickly shifted to Hela, who was standing behind him.

Jean was ready to compete subtly, but she quickly realized that Hela's attention remained fixed on Luke the entire time. Hela didn't even glance in her direction, which left Jean feeling slightly dejected.

"Well, I'm back to check on things." Luke said.

"Long time no see,Yao!" Luke greeted the Ancient One, but he couldn't help raising an eyebrow when he sensed her current condition.

"I doubt you came back just to return the sto e." The Ancient One remarked. She looked the same as before, but her already pale face now appeared even more bloodless.

Luke was curious to know what had happened. In an instant, everything became clear to him—a manifestation of his newfound omniscience. Anything that occurred in this universe was now accessible to him with just a thought.

"So that's what happened." Luke murmured.

With a wave of his hand, a shadow in the shape of a goat appeared, trotting toward the Ancient One and gently licking her smooth head. Instantly, enveloped in a strange energy, the Ancient One's damaged soul began to heal rapidly, and within moments, she was completely restored.

"You are powerful and generous." The Ancient One said, her voice filled with genuine admiration, "If I hadn't already sworn an oath to the Vishanti, I would be tempted to follow you."

She had been relying on the Vishanti's power to heal her soul, but progress had been slow. Yet now, with just a small gesture from Luke, she was fully restored. The gap in their power was undeniable.

"Luke, would you help me rescue those ordinary people who have been infected by the mental corruption?" the Ancient One asked.

"Of course, I'd be happy to!" Luke replied without hesitation. It was an easy task for him now, so he readily agreed.
