MCU- CH-162. The Corrupted Avengers, X-men...

In the New York Sanctum, the Ancient One was deeply focused, monitoring the defensive magic circle that enveloped the entire Earth. Suddenly, a terrible premonition flashed through her mind. For beings like her, such premonitions were equivalent to a form of spiritual perception, often serving as warnings from unknown forces. At this critical time, the Ancient One knew she had to be extremely cautious.

She carefully channeled her power through the defensive formation, scanning for any disturbances around the world. Suddenly, she felt a violent impact at a specific magic node.

The dark wizards of the Immortal Order had completed a sacrificial ceremony, opening a dimensional portal through which the Vendetta Alliance of the Cancerous Universe and other invaders had emerged. Leading them was the cancerous lord Mar-Vell, followed closely by a horde of corrupted superheroes.

As they stepped into Earth's dimension, a chaotic and ominous energy filled the air. Among the corrupted, Doctor Strange looked up at the sky, frowning.

"This is the defensive magic circle set by the Sanctum. Has this world already been invaded by other dimensions?" Strange muttered in confusion.

The other members of the Vendetta Alliance also glanced upwards.

"Why worry about that?" One of them scoffed, "I can't wait to spread the blessings of the Polyhedron across this universe!"

"Yeah, we can't die anyway." Another added.

"I can already smell the ripe essence of this universe." Someone else said eagerly.

The cancerous beings conversed carelessly, unconcerned about what was happening on Earth. Immortality was their greatest weapon. In this universe, only the incarnation of death could end their existence.

"We must find this universe's incarnation of death and offer them to the great Polyhedron. Once we complete the autopsy ritual, the blessings of the Polyhedron will bathe this world!" Mar-Vell commanded, urging the others to begin their search.

At that moment, Mar-Vell suddenly sensed a familiar magical energy. A bright portal opened in front of the cancerous invaders, and a bald sorcerer in a yellow robe stepped through. It was the Ancient One.

Cancerous Strange grinned as he saw her, "Well, if it isn't my dearest Master, the Ancient One. What a surprise! I thought it would be me who came for you. It seems you haven't met Vishanti in this universe yet, have you?"

He floated toward the Ancient One, his smile twisted and malevolent. For a brief moment, the Ancient One was taken aback by the sight before her. She had traveled through various timelines using the Time Stone, and recognized some of the corrupted figures in front of her. But others, such as the grotesque versions of the X-Men, were barely recognizable anymore.

"Strange, what happened to your world? Why have you all become like this?" The Ancient One asked, staring at the corrupted version of her once-brilliant student. Even though he was not the Strange of this universe, he had been her disciple in another world, and concern flickered in her eyes.

"Isn't it perfect?" Strange replied, his voice dripping with madness, "We've eliminated the very concept of death. Our universe is immortal, free from the laws of decay. Isn't this what you sought as well? Join us in welcoming the coming of the Polyhedron."

Strange's mind had been completely corrupted by the influence of the Polyhedron, turning him into its most devoted servant. The corruption had twisted everything rational, turning him and the others into walking, immortal monstrosities.

"I'm sorry for what's happened to you, Strange. But as Sorcerer Supreme, you know our mission is to protect this world." The Ancient One said solemnly, realizing that Strange and his companions were beyond saving. She steeled herself for the only option left—combat.

"You can leave this to me." Mar-Vell said to the rest of the cancerous invaders, signaling for them to carry out their mission.

Without hesitation, the Vendetta Alliance, corrupted versions of the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and the Illuminati, began their attack. But the Ancient One wouldn't let them proceed so easily. With a simple gesture, she opened the Mirror Dimension, pulling all of the invaders into the strange, reflective realm that she controlled.

"Kill her!" Mar-Vell shouted, as he and the others unleashed a barrage of attacks on the Ancient One.

But they had underestimated the power of the Mirror Dimension. Here, the Ancient One was in complete control. She was not like another Sorcerer Supreme who had once been trapped by a mere spider for an entire day. With a flick of her fingers, the very space around them twisted and folded, effortlessly dissolving their attacks.

In the hands of the Ancient One, spells flowed as easily as breathing. Even Mar-Vell's powerful dual star energy was no match for the Ancient One's defensive magic circle.

As for the Hulk and the Thing, two incredibly powerful beings who relied on their physical strength, they hadn't even come close to touching the Ancient One. Instead, they were suspended mid-air, imprisoned by the Ancient One's mastery over space.

When Cancerous Strange saw what the Ancient One was doing, he quickly formed a hand seal, and the Eye of Agamotto hanging around his neck snapped open. A green light emerged—time magic, Cancerous Strange's specialty.

But the next moment, a look of shock spread across his corrupted face. He realized that in this universe, he couldn't access the power of the Time Stone at all!

Caught off guard, Cancerous Strange was swiftly ensnared by an energy whip cast by the Ancient One. Desperate, he tried to use his magic cloak to interfere, but the cloak circled the Ancient One before draping behind her harmlessly, as though the Ancient One had bent it to her will, moving effortlessly from defense to offense.

The remaining cancerous invaders, seeing this, charged forward. In response, the Ancient One swung her hands, and the red Rings of Raggador transformed into two energy folding fans, one in each hand. Unlike other sorcerers who favored more conventional magical weapons, the Ancient One preferred her delicate yet deadly fans.

The following battle allowed this group of corrupted beings to witness the terrifying power of a melee-focused sorcerer. As she gracefully dodged their attacks, the Ancient One would lightly sweep the fan across an opponent, slicing their bodies cleanly into pieces with seemingly effortless precision.

Only the cancerous Captain America, using his shield, could barely hold his own against the Ancient One, though even he was only able to defend himself, not go on the offensive.

However, it didn't take long for the Ancient One to notice something alarming. Within seconds of being "killed," these cancerous creatures regenerated, their bodies reassembling themselves as they entered a second, even more monstrous form.
