X-MEN- CH-55. Yuriko koyama
Added 2024-10-09 03:25:05 +0000 UTCLater, they conducted experiments on the brainwashed Yuriko Koyama and covered her entire body with this metal. Her brain was also transformed by the metal, retaining human thought, while her internal organs were similarly altered but still functioned as human organs. However, she was made of metal inside and out. The combination of Raven's cells and adamantium made the metal active, but it lost the ability to change at will. She could only control whether her outer skin covered herself, and the ability for her nails to grow at will was also retained.
Death Girl had the ability to control the system. Trask installed a neural interface in her body that connected to a computer, allowing remote control of the system via the Internet. Ultimately, this resulted in the current form of Death Girl, who could be considered an artificial creation.
Afterwards, Trask planned to conduct research on Sentinels based on Death Girl. However, just as he was about to take the next step, he was killed by Martin, and the base became a ruin—only Yuriko survived. After Trask's death, the Sentinel Project was shelved, and Yuriko fell back into the hands of Trask and was brainwashed again.
"Remove your skin disguise," Martin instructed her.
Now controlled by Martin, Yuriko immediately complied. Her skin was no longer the same color as that of a normal person, but rather a silvery-white metallic hue, including her hair, which was also metallic. Martin placed his hand on the softest part of her body and pinched it. He felt that although the adamantium alloy was alive and had characteristics of flesh, it was much harder than a real human body.
Under Martin's instructions, Yuriko displayed the data interface on her palm again.
"Remove the skin."
Yuriko followed his command, taking off her shirt and revealing her torso. She could only control the skin on her torso and limbs, not her head. This was her ability; her brain acted as a very sophisticated controller, instinctively preventing her from exposing herself.
From her chest, Martin saw her metal internal organs and a metal sphere of unknown origin. Through her memories, Martin identified it as her "CPU." After connecting to the external network, her thoughts and external information would be processed there before entering her brain. Moreover, this component could evolve as long as it came into contact with more advanced technology.
Looking at Yuriko, Martin thought of Tony Stark's "Jarvis." Yuriko was his "Yuriko." Who could resist a soft... maybe not-so-soft machine... a human... Anyway, that's what she was. Martin cleared Yuriko's brainwashing and restored her to normal. Her eyes instantly changed from mechanical and lifeless to flexible and full of emotion.
Although Yuriko Koyama had been brainwashed, she possessed two sets of thoughts: the mechanical side controlled by the human side. She had always known everything about the outside world, but she simply couldn't resist. Looking at Martin, Yuriko's eyes expressed gratitude.
"Put on your clothes. You look prettier as a human."
"Yes."
Yuriko Oyama bowed and agreed, then put on her shirt and returned to her previous state. Her black hair was tied into a ponytail that hung down behind her head.
"Would you like to come with me?"
"Thank you for saving me; I would like to." She had nowhere else to go, so following Martin was a good option. Martin touched her face, noting the hardness of her skin. Then he untied her hair, recalling the appearance of Death Girl in the comics, "Can your hair be wavy?"
"Yes."
As Yuriko spoke, her shoulder-length hair transformed into large waves.
"Very beautiful."
"Thanks."
Logan looked at the two unhappily, "Are you done?"
"Um."
"What's wrong with her?"
Martin explained Yuriko's situation to Logan, and while Logan fell silent, Yuriko approached him and bowed to apologize.
"Forget it. Can you help me now?"
"Certainly."
Martin turned to the researchers, "Can you help him turn the bones in his arm into adamantium?"
The people exchanged glances but said nothing.
"Sir, I can do it," Yuriko volunteered, bowing again.
"Hmm? That's great... Just call me Martin, and don't be too polite when talking to me."
"Yes."
Yuriko agreed, and seeing she adapted quickly, Martin said, "Then you help Logan."
After Yuriko nodded, she took Logan to the operating table on the side. She opened the skin on the palm of her hand, revealing the interface, and connected to the computer program.
Logan underwent the transformation while Martin observed this group of "angels in white." He thought about how, if he hadn't rescued Raven in time, she might have been experimented on by them.
Pah!
With a snap of his fingers, everyone turned into blood mist and fell to the ground.
After dealing with those individuals, Martin approached Logan. Logan lay on a recliner with his arms in the sinks on either side, each forearm containing three metal injection tips.
"I'm going to start," Yuriko said.
Logan nodded to indicate he was ready, and Martin nodded back to Yuriko.
Then, a stream of adamantium liquid slowly entered Logan's arm from the tube connected to the injection head.
"Ah..." Logan screamed immediately; veins bulged on the exposed skin of his arms and neck, and sweat dripped from his face. Though Logan was restrained, he struggled against the pain.
Martin placed his hand on Logan's head, controlling him so that he couldn't feel the pain in his arm temporarily. At the same time, he infused energy into Logan's arm to accelerate the transformation of the metal.
"Ouch... it hurts so much..."
"Yes, I can see that. I will cut off your pain nerves first, and then release them after you have been reformed."
"Okay," Logan replied, fear evident in his voice.
Under Martin's perception, the adamantium slowly replaced the bones in Logan's forearm. Initially, Logan's healing factor was expelling the adamantium's spread, but gradually, the cells in Logan's forearm began to assimilate with the metal, turning his bones into metal bit by bit.
It took about twenty minutes to completely transform both of Logan's arms. Yuriko controlled the injection head and withdrew it, while Martin released his hold on Logan.
Logan asked, "Okay?"
"Yes."
Logan eagerly extended his bone claws. The original bones had transformed into sharp blades with a metallic luster, longer and sharper than the original bone claws. Logan slashed at a nearby table without any resistance, leaving three deep marks on the metal surface.
