I am Peter Parker- CH-147. Tony is curious
Added 2024-10-08 02:14:14 +0000 UTCIt looked like he was planning to take his own life. Then Tony noticed the crude exoskeleton on Ivan and the miniature Arc Reactor emitting a white glow on his chest.
When Tony saw the miniature Arc Reactor on Ivan's chest, his pupils shrank, and a shocked expression crossed his face. He couldn't comprehend where that miniature Arc Reactor had come from.
While Tony was staring at Ivan, Ivan was also looking back at Tony with regret in his eyes. He regretted not striking Tony with the whip earlier. Otherwise, even if this robot had rescued Tony, all it would have retrieved would be a pile of minced meat!
Peter, however, didn't know what was running through the minds of the two men. At this moment, Peter just wanted to finish the fight as quickly as possible so he could take the Tyrant Zero back to the lab for upgrades.
Peter was too impatient to wait for Happy and Pepper to bring Tony's portable armor. Glancing at the Tyrant Zero standing in front of him, he said, "Sion, kill him! But remember to leave him alive. The rest is up to you."
When Tyrant Zero heard Peter's command, its blue eyes turned red. Without warning, a blue energy blast shot out from the reactor in its chest, flying straight toward Ivan.
Ivan had no time to react to the energy projectile fired by Tyrant Zero. He hadn't expected that the bulky robot wielding a sledgehammer could also attack with energy—completely contradicting its appearance!
Caught off guard, Ivan was struck directly by the energy blast, sending him flying backward. He crashed heavily into the protective wall on the side of the track. The impact nearly broke through the more-than-ten-centimeter-thick concrete wall, and the crude exoskeleton he wore was deformed by the violent collision.
The exoskeleton, lacking even basic shock absorbers, offered Ivan little protection, and he bore the full brunt of the impact with his flesh and blood.
Being an ordinary human, the tremendous force caused severe internal injuries. After hitting the ground, Ivan coughed up blood and lay limply on the track, gazing blankly at the blue sky.
He couldn't comprehend how his meticulous plan to kill Tony in public had gone so awry. Where had this giant robot come from? He had gathered all the intelligence he could, yet he found no trace of it anywhere!
When Ivan fell to the ground and lost the ability to fight back, Tyrant Zero slowly approached and carefully picked him up with two fingers, being cautious not to use too much strength, fearing something might explode. In Tyrant Zero's massive hand, Ivan, now limp, looked like a rag doll.
Tyrant Zero held Ivan and walked over to Peter and Tony, gently placing Ivan down, who was now completely motionless and unresisting, like a dead dog. Just as Ivan was being put down, he suddenly lifted his head, glaring at Tony with murderous intent. Grinning through the pain, Ivan mustered the last of his strength and swung the electric-charged whip in his hand toward Tony.
Tony's eyes widened as the whip crackled toward him. He didn't understand why this man, even in his beaten state, was still so determined to kill him. Peter, noticing the attack instantly, reacted swiftly. He extended his hand, catching the electrified whip mid-air, stopping the assault.
With Ivan's attack neutralized, Peter's other hand morphed into a blade, shimmering with a cold light. Without hesitation, Peter swung his arm, severing both the metal whip and Ivan's wrist in one swift motion.
Already at the end of his strength, Ivan fainted before he could even cry out in pain. He collapsed unconscious on the ground, his body utterly still. Peter gazed down at him without any visible change in emotion. Everything Ivan had done was his own fault. He could have gone to prison peacefully, but instead, he chose to attack Tony at the last moment.
Did Ivan think he could get away with that just because Peter had spared his life? To attack Tony right under Peter's nose was an audacious mistake. If it weren't for Peter needing Ivan to stir up trouble at the Stark Expo and to bring down Hammer Industries, Tyrant Zero would have crushed Ivan into a bloody pulp with a single blow.
Peter shook his head, then with a flick of his wrist, his God Eater weapon transformed into a whip, which he used to pluck the miniature Arc Reactor from Ivan's chest. Holding the device emitting a white glow in his hand, Peter tossed it toward Tony.
"Tony, I think you'll want to take a look at this. Handle it yourself!"
Tony caught the reactor and examined it. After a quick glance, he confirmed that it was indeed a miniature Arc Reactor, although its construction was crude—far inferior to even the early prototype he had built while imprisoned in Afghanistan.
Just as Tony was about to ask Peter to destroy the reactor, the screech of tires braking on the ground interrupted him. Both Peter and Tony turned toward the sound and saw Tony's black Rolls-Royce pulling up not far from them. Through the window, they could see Pepper and Happy, both wearing worried expressions.
As soon as the car stopped, Pepper rushed out, running straight to Tony and immediately checking him over.
"Tony, are you alright? Are you hurt?" she asked, her hands frantically searching for injuries.
"Pepper, I'm fine. We're in public. If you keep this up, I'll ruin my image." Tony said with a helpless smile, stopping her from worrying too much.
After calming Pepper down, Tony glanced over at Ivan, who was now bandaged and being taken away by the police. He turned to Happy and said, "Happy, make sure you talk to the police. Once that guy wakes up, I want a private conversation with him."
Happy raised an eyebrow, unsure why Tony would want to talk to someone who had just tried to kill him. But since it was an order from the boss, he nodded, "Alright, boss. I'll take care of it."
After issuing his instructions, Tony turned around, intending to thank Peter for saving him. He was also eager to ask how Peter managed to turn the Tyrant Zero, a massive mecha, into an F1 racing car. But when he looked, Peter had already disappeared, along with the nearly ten-meter-tall Tyrant Zero.
"Hey! Peter..." Tony called out, but it was too late.
Turning to Happy and Pepper, Tony asked, "Did either of you see where the guy and his mecha went?"
"Boss, if you're talking about the guy in the weird suit, he just got into that mecha-turned-car and drove off." Happy replied.
Seeing Peter was gone, Tony shrugged, deciding he'd talk to him the next time they crossed paths.
After leaving the scene, Peter found a secluded spot, summoned the Tyrant Zero back into the system space, and opened a portal, shouting his destination. In an instant, he was back in his lab.
As soon as Peter returned, Yue dropped the game console in her hands and rushed to greet him.
"Peter, you're back! How was your racing trip in Morocco?"
"It wasn't all that exciting." Peter replied with a shrug, "With my current reaction time, I can drive the Tyrant Zero at 500 kilometers per hour without breaking a sweat."
While responding to Yue's question, Peter released Tyrant Zero from the system space. As soon as it appeared, Peter disabled the AI with a simple thought.
He hadn't forgotten the backstory behind the Tyrant Zero's design, especially Sion's Tyrannosaurus Reborn skin. Though rebellion was highly unlikely, Peter had prepared for every possibility. When designing Tyrant Zero, he had ensured that its AI was entirely under his control, and with its relatively low intelligence, even Yue could easily shut it down if needed.
With these safeguards in place, there was little chance of Tyrant Zero turning against him. After all, Peter didn't want to end up like Tony, betrayed by his own creation.
Peter began reviewing the design flaws in Tyrant Zero that he'd noticed during the recent battle. He waved his hand, bringing up the parts diagram and began making the necessary modifications. At the same time, he listed all the materials he'd need for the upgrades and asked Yue to gather them.
Once the design was finalized, Peter would begin upgrading the Tyrant Zero.
