I am Peter Parker- CH-142. Tony visits Peter's lab
Added 2024-10-05 02:51:35 +0000 UTCA few hours later, Peter tossed the wrench aside and smiled at the energy module in front of him, which stood almost half his height, "Finally done! Tyrant Zero's energy module—an arc-type heavy nuclear fusion reactor!"
While both Peter's and Tony's arc reactors are nuclear fusion-based, Peter's technology was more advanced and economical. He used a version of heavy nuclear fusion similar to what was featured in *The Wandering Earth*, which used stone as fuel. However, Peter's reactor was far smaller in size but significantly more powerful.
Turning to Yue, who had been observing the entire process, Peter said, "Yue, please install this energy module on Tyrant Zero."
"Okay, Peter." Yue responded, nodding. She controlled several mechanical arms that descended from the ceiling and worked together to lift the one-meter-tall reactor. Carefully, the arms guided it into the chest of Tyrant Zero.
As Yue worked on installing the energy module, Peter relaxed on a nearby sofa, turning on the projector to watch the latest news. He hadn't been watching for long when a video call request from Tony suddenly popped up in the corner of the projection.
Peter was puzzled to see Tony calling him at that moment. Based on the time, Tony should already be aboard his private jet. So why wasn't he up in the air, enjoying a chat with the flight attendants? Intrigued, Peter accepted the call.
Tony's image appeared on screen. His suit, once neat, was now a disheveled mess. His jacket and tie were nowhere to be seen, and a bikini-clad flight attendant stood beside him, feeding him a cocktail.
Seeing this, Peter's expression turned and he smiled, "Tony, did you call just to show off? If so, I admit defeat. Goodbye." Peter moved to end the call.
"Wait!" Tony hurriedly pushed the flight attendant Peter, "It's not about that." He turned and asked all the cabin crew to leave the room. Once they had, he turned back to Peter, "Peter, did you reveal your identity on purpose? And how did you know from the start that I was suffering from palladium poisoning?"
As Tony unbuttoned his shirt, Peter saw the dark green lines spreading from the arc reactor in Tony's chest—clear signs of palladium poisoning. Some of the lines even reached Tony's neck.
The situation was dire, and Peter knew that Tony's condition was already critical. Chlorophyll was only slowing the inevitable, and Tony wouldn't last much longer if untreated.
Still, Peter didn't appear concerned. With his *Biohazard Disinfectant*, even if the palladium levels in Tony's blood were at 99%, as long as Tony was alive, Peter could save him.
Instead of answering Tony's questions, Peter simply pointed to his own chest and said, "Tony, I'll answer your questions when you come to Umbrella. And remember what I told you before—I can cure your palladium poisoning. See you soon!"
Before Tony could ask anything else, Peter hung up the call, leaving Tony stunned. Peter leaned back, smiling. He could already picture the look on Tony's face. Being cryptic had its joys.
As Peter had imagined, Tony's expression on the plane was one of pure frustration. He was not used to being left hanging, especially on something as crucial as his own life. He had tried countless methods to manage the poisoning, all in vain. Now, Peter was telling him there was a cure.
Not willing to waste any more time, Tony jumped out of his seat and rushed to the cockpit, "John, forget fuel efficiency—get us to New York as fast as you can, safely!"
"Got it, boss." The pilot responded, pushing the engines to their maximum power.
At this breakneck speed, Tony's plane landed at New York Airport just ten minutes later. The moment the wheels touched down, Tony opened the cabin door himself and sprinted down the stairs to the luxury car waiting by the runway.
Climbing into the car, Tony adjusted his clothing and ordered, "Happy, get me to the Umbrella Building as fast as you can. Don't worry about red lights or speeding tickets—I'll handle those."
"On it, boss!" Happy floored the accelerator, and with a screech of tires, the car sped off towards the Umbrella Building like a black arrow.
Meanwhile, inside the Umbrella Building, Yue had just finished installing the energy module into Tyrant Zero's chest. As she controlled the robotic arms to fine-tune the assembly, she approached Peter and pointed to Tony's location on the digital map.
"Peter, Tony just landed in New York and is on his way here. He should arrive in about half an hour."
Peter looked at the map, watching the small red dot representing Tony move rapidly in his direction. At that speed, Tony would likely arrive in less than half an hour.
Glancing at the empty cup beside him, Peter smirked, "Looks like it's time to give Tony a little welcome surprise!"
Thanks to Happy's superb driving skills and his disregard for traffic lights along the way, it took him less than 20 minutes to reach Umbrella, a journey that should have taken more than half an hour. As Happy approached the Umbrella Building, he turned the steering wheel, stepped on the brakes, and executed a perfect drift, parking the car steadily in front of the entrance.
Upon seeing the car stop, Tony, who had a pale face, immediately opened the door and got out, complaining to Happy, "Happy, your driving skills... I will never let you drive again next time." As soon as he finished speaking, Tony covered his churning stomach and walked into Umbrella.
Upon entering, the first thing Tony noticed was a robot that was two or three meters tall, round in shape, and completely white, exuding a very technological vibe. Curious, Tony approached it and patted it, "Hey! This mascot is pretty cool. I think I could use one of these for my Mark suit in Stark Tower."
When Blitzcrank heard Tony's compliments, his expression changed to (^ω^). He then lowered his head to look at Tony and said in his electronic voice, "Mr. Stark, thank you for the compliment! My name is Blitz, and Master Peter asked me to come get you."
Tony was startled by Blitzcrank's sudden voice. But the next second, he was intrigued by the robot's fluent response. Blitzcrank's answer didn't seem like a pre-programmed response at all; it was like an artificial intelligence with wisdom and independent thinking ability, similar to Jarvis.
Looking at Blitzcrank, Tony curiously asked, "Blitzcrank, do you have the ability to think independently?"
"That's right! Blitzcrank has the ability to think independently. Mr. Stark, please follow me!" Blitzcrank replied and began to lead Tony to the laboratory on the second-to-last floor where Peter was.
In the elevator, Tony asked Blitzcrank several test questions to assess whether he truly possessed independent thinking. Blitzcrank provided fluent answers, leading Tony to believe that the robot genuinely had artificial intelligence. Just as Tony was about to ask Blitzcrank more questions, the elevator arrived at the second-to-last floor with a "ding" sound, and the door opened.
"Okay, Tony, let Blitzcrank go! Don't forget that you didn't come here to test Blitzcrank; you came here to treat your palladium poisoning." Peter said, standing at the elevator door and rescuing Blitzcrank from Tony's curiosity.
Upon hearing Peter's words, Tony finally realized his true purpose for coming to Umbrella. He hadn't expected to be so distracted by Blitzcrank that he forgot about his business.
When Tony stepped out of the elevator, he was stunned by Peter's laboratory, which was more advanced than his own. He had always thought his lab was the most cutting-edge in the world, but upon seeing Peter's lab, he realized he had been too arrogant. No matter how proud Tony was, seeing Peter's fully automated high-tech laboratory made him feel that replicating it would take at least a year or two.
Peter smiled at Tony, who was awestruck by the lab. At that moment, Peter felt very pleased. He never thought that the smartest man in Marvel would find himself in such a position. While Tony was still in disbelief, Peter reached out and took the cup filled with green liquid that a robotic arm handed him and offered it to Tony.
"Tony, you must have been exhausted from the journey. Come and drink some water to relax!" Peter said.
Tony snapped back to reality upon hearing Peter's voice and subconsciously took the glass handed to him. Glancing at the emerald green liquid, he thought it was chlorophyll and drank it in one gulp without thinking too much. But the next second, he immediately regretted his decision. He looked at Peter with disbelief, his face twisting in bitterness.
After drinking several glasses of water, Tony finally came to his senses, "Peter, what the hell was that thing you just gave me to drink? I swear I've never had anything so bitter in my life!"
"Bitter melon juice! It can clear away heat and detoxify, and it can also help prevent and fight cancer. Okay, don't worry about those details. Let me check the palladium content in your blood!" Peter quickly changed the subject and pulled Tony toward the experimental bed.
Feeling confused, Tony didn't understand why he didn't resist when Peter pulled him. If anyone else had done that, he would have definitely pushed them away. In reality, Tony didn't know that this was due to the mysterious power of Peter's system. Previously, in Afghanistan, Peter completed the system task of rescuing Tony and Ethan, which rewarded him with Tony's friendship. This meant that no matter what identity Peter took on, Tony would always have a high initial favorability toward him.
That was why Tony allowed himself to be led to the experimental bed. Once Tony was lying on the bed, Peter collected some blood from Tony's fingertips with a blood collection needle and handed it to Yue, who was beside him.
"Yue, thank you for your help." Peter said.
Yue took the blood from Peter, dipped a fingertip in it, and quickly analyzed the palladium content, "Peter, the palladium level in Tony's blood is currently 43%."
Tony was skeptical when he saw that Yue could detect the palladium content in his blood with just a touch, "Hey, Peter and this girl, are you two kidding me? You can test the palladium content in my blood with just a touch of your fingertip?"
As he spoke, Tony pulled out a portable testing instrument he had created and placed the fingertip that had just been pierced by Peter into the testing port. After a moment, the instrument displayed the palladium content in his blood. Tony was shocked when he saw the value shown.
He never expected that the value detected by his professional instrument would match exactly with the value Yue had casually mentioned. Seeing Tony staring at the instrument with a look of shock, Peter understood that the values detected by the two were indeed identical.
Tony didn't realize that Yue had only seemed to touch his blood lightly. In that moment, her skin and eye sensors conducted a detailed analysis, leading to the result of 43%.
