He wanted to defeat Martin, first get Charles' ability, and then transfer his consciousness to Martin's body. Apocalypse said loudly, and began to use the power of the mind to impact Martin's mind.

"Look down on me?" Why not play with psychic powers? You have to know that Martin's psychic powers come from some of the strongest mutants known. Even though they each have different focuses, when added together, Martin has no shortcomings in this regard.

There was no need for Martin to use diamond form to stop him, the power of the mind can stop him. In Martin's sea of consciousness, the two men became two giants, but Martin was much bigger than him. Apocalypse didn't believe it and raised his hand to hit Martin. Martin grabbed Apocalypse's fist and, with a little force, pushed him to the ground.

Locking Apocalypse's consciousness in his own mind, Martin teleported in front of Apocalypse and reached out to strangle Apocalypse's neck.
