Today is Diada de Sant Jordi (The Day of Books and Roses). An important day for Catalan culture. I'll explain it to you a little bit. Sant Jordi (Saint George) is the patron saint of Catalonia. The legend of Sant Jordi says that he rescued a princess from a dragon πΈπ When he killed the dragon π‘οΈ the blood that gushed out turned into a rose π©ΈπΉ
