2026-01-13 22:08:27 +0000 UTCThe painting is actually Roland Deschain from the Dark Tower (the mist is a thing from the Dark Tower series called Todash), but the style was clearly based on Clint. The actual painter is Drew Struzan who's created a lot of famous movie posters.

I've made a "quick" research about civil war's weapons. asking if they're waterproof? they said no because of the black powder and a lot guns are still reloaded by the mouth and not with bullet with powder in it (like the Minié bullet). but the bullet for revolver look more like modern one. So my question: does a revolver from that time like those in the movie could really worked being wet? or is this just for the movie? Thanks for your information in advance.

(the three of them are beautifull, and they're all good golden-heart whith some bad idea, even sometime nasty joke!). i'm curious about what are you thinking about that, angels. but don't call yourself the ugly! I never had the chance to see this one ! (not even on the munchies yet, but certainly soon now) But some scene are so famous even someone like me who never saw the movie know this scene and musics !! Ennio Morricine really CREATED the western's musical style !!the main theme of "the good, the bad and the ugly" and "Ectasy of gold" (the one whe he arrived at the cemetery) are so good. they fit in every western or ever any movie where the tensions and gun duels is hapenning! i heard them so many time, even in parody of cartoon! Dam even the ex-soldier who lacks his legs is in almost every western inspired cartoon ( anyone who ever read "Lucky Luke"'s comics or saw the cartoon, you know what i'm talking about 😅). "shoot first, talk later","cut his hand off", "we die for nothing!", "wathever they do, i care only for the money" 😅, I thing i must worried about Tien and Land now! the worst is that they're right !!!( except for the "I care only for the money") 🤣🤣 but Tien, when someone is telling a naked guy to drop the gun he has in his hand, PLEASE, don't say "wich one?" !!!!😂 we can't drop the one you're talking about !😉 (sorry, if the joke was too much. but it was too easy)/ It's funny that Tien and lan are seeing Tuco and Blondie as cute on the same level, but for Yuri only Blondie is !😅(i may be a man but yeah , blondie is better looking than Tuco) Lan, I think it's normal you feel dizzy in the cemetery when the song is called "ECTASY of gold". i think that was the idea. Lan: what is bout going in Germany for blonde and blue eyes guy !! 🤣🤣 btw, you better going more ot the north for that. the combinaison of the two is not that common as you may though. Just some information for you. In real life, a true cowboy doens't had a gun. if they have one , it was given by theirs boss. cowboy are just seasonal worker hired to guide herd from one point to another (and young man or teenagers most of the time). the cliché about the far west being that brutal with a lot of duel was because it happened onc in a while, mostly in small town where the law's official was not enough and the only thing happenings was the cowboy passing by and emptying all the saloons of their alcohols ! but it was easy to take that and make it big for the cinema, western spaghetti mostly! And I verified. Guns wasn't waterproof. the bullet wasn't as waterproof to avoid black powder to get wet and so ineffective!! but Iguess it's a very good scene! now, I'm not an expert but most guns of this time clearly wasn't. now a revolver and their bullets? It seems it can. Personnaly, I don't see Tuco as dumb . He just don't think on the long run. he's always looking for the easiest way to do, having all for himself and avoid as many trouble he can by killing everyone who can annoy him!! but he's sympathetic in a way just like you said. Thanks again for the discovery of this classics and all the good laugh!! have a nice days, Angels!

I also inherited a Colt 1851 Navy from my grandfather but I've never fired it because it was already in very poor condition when I got it.........I do love this era of firearm design with the lever actions and the different revolver designs competing to be the best... I love guns. 🥰
