It was actual a common thing to take death photos back then alot of the times it would be the only picture of the person especially with kids but it was mainly just to have a picture of loved ones nothing supernatural

I think 4 people is too many for a reaction. BTW TIen, that was Lady Stark at the end.

This movie is so well done. It’s almost perfect. One of the finest performances by a lead actress ever.
There is another movie of Nicole Kidman which is one of a kind artistic movie. It’s called Dogville. It’s not a horror movie.

What a lovely group of lovelies! This is one of my favorite ghost-story movies. It is one that I wish I could forget and then watch for the 1st time again. The twist is amazing, and Tien said it so early in the movie and then forgot about it. I was like, oh crap, she already figured it out! 😳
Another good ghost story with a great twist is Skeleton Key with Kate Hudson. Check it out sometime.

Awesome movie with a great double Plot twist at the end.
If you've seen it several times, you'll notice a lot of little clues scattered throughout the movie that give the ending away, but the first time I watched it, the ending still took me by surprise.
My theory is that the mother's story is for the most part true.
I think the husband died in the war, and the gloomy atmosphere in the house caused the servants to flee.
I mean, the mother wasn't exactly easy being the mistress of the house; there were all these rules, and because of the children, part of the house always had to be darkened.
When the servants left, the mother was simply overwhelmed by the situation, and that made her lose it.
I think Yuri is pretty right about the father. He even says in the movie, "He came back to say goodbye to his family, and that's what he did.". Whether he's actually going back to a war waged by ghosts or continuing on to heaven remains a mystery.
What I don't quite understand are the three other ghosts. It seems like they've been around as ghosts for a while. But in the movie, it seems as if they've just arrived at the house.
It somehow seems to me like it's a plot hole designed to make the twist at the end work.
Because otherwise, where do they come from? Do they move from haunted house to haunted house, were they just wandering in the fog for a few years...I have no idea.😅
Fun fact: Tom Cruise was one of the producers of this movie, and the lead actress, Nicole Kidman, was his wife at the time.
That was an awesome reaction Angels, as always; I love these collaborations.💜

In the 1800,s many photos of the Deceased were taken in different poses for a Keepsake.
