In a lobotomy -The needle goes in the corner of the eye - to reach the brain. The needle is moved around to destroy the frontal lobe. This was done to psychotic people to calm them down and stop delusions and violence. But ... The frontal lobe is your intelligence area. You are reduced to a drooling idiot.

I was looking forward to this reaction. Good stuff. Just throwing this from out of nowhere, I would like to see you two react to Zombieland.

That was a great into. Lan you should do them more often.
Tein it's funny you mention that Michael is a hard name for you to pronounce. I happen to have an Uncle Mike, and a nephew named Michael. That just reminded me of them LOL.
Total Recall is my favorite Arnold movie of all time. The director Paul Verhoven stated that the events that took place in the movie are all real. Nothing is a dream or a simulation.

Great reaction
Hope the Angles react to Commando (1985) and The Running Man (1987) both great Arnold movies

This was another fun reaction. I love this movie but you can tell it was made a long time ago with it's effects. It was fun seeing you two on different sides if it was real or not. You two are so funny together.
Benny has 5 kids.
Tien "He touched 3 boobs. He might have another one."
Lan "Oh yeah, a baby mama." Haha!

Lan isn't entirely wrong. In 2012 there was a remake of Total Recall starring Colin Farrell.
The movie received a lot of unnecessary criticism from fans because it's not the original. But objectively speaking, it's a pretty good sci-fi action movie.
Maybe you can react to The remake and compare the two movies.
I'm team it's all real. It wouldn't be cool if it was all just a dream.
What if the technology really existed? Would you use it? And if so, would you book the ego trip.π
Personally, I would never let anyone mess around with my head like that. I'd rather just be myself and go on vacation.
Since you liked the cheesy lines so much, I'd like to recommend the movie Commando (1985) with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
That movie has the highest density of cheese lines of the entire 80s.π
That was an awesome reaction, Angels, as always.π

Hello Angels and welcome to my talk on the importance of Phillip K. Dick (PKD) for Western Cinema. PKD never made any movies. He was a Science Fiction writer who did most of his work in the 1970's.
This film - Total Recall - is based on PKD's story "We can Remember it for you Wholesale". While the story is very different from the film the premise is the same.
PKD also wrote a book called "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" and this book was turned into the movie Blade Runner and directed by Ridley Scott and stars Harrison Ford. The Angels should definitely watch Blade Runner. It's pretty good and contains a lot of cultural references.
Some other big PKD adaptations include "Minority Report". This one stars Tom Cruise with Spielberg directing.
The series The Man in the High Castle was based on his book of the same name.
Important for this story and movie, PKD didn't believe in reality. He thought reality was a mass delusion.
Did the events of this movie really take place or were they a delusion?
I definitely think it could be interpreted either way, but when they are at ReKall, the technician predicts the whole plot of the coming action. He even says, "Blue sky on mars. That's a new one."
Now that you've watched the film, do the ANGELS think the events of this movie were real? Is reality itself a delusion? Will i cease to exist if I unsubscribe from this Patreon?
