Yea Ronnie Coleman is bigger but due to his endeavors in the Body building world he injured his back very badly. Trophies are just trophies and maybe for the Predator its a right way of passage to ranking up with the other predators.

Great reaction! Love seeing how much you're attracted to real, masculine men too. Arnold is awesome! Carl Weathers was great in this movie too. Hope you watch more of the Predator movies. You always bring a smile to my face regardless of the mood I was in. ❤🙏🔥

Yeah most people do. Also, I think the term is a bit dated now. It was more commonly used back in the 80s.

to be fair I also used to get the two words confused so when I heard "guerriilas" the first time I thought they were talking about "gorrillas"

Arnold was Mr. Olympiad a few times in the 1970's. Then he went to Hollywood and did the Terminator Films and Conan The Barbarian and many more, He became a huge star. Then he became Governor of California !

Guerrillas are a type of soldier that fight using unconventional tactics. Think rebels, child soldiers, militias and even terrorist. Not to be confused with the animal gorilla which sounds the same.

The moment when Tien gets the joke.😅
You have to love the 80s, the time when every soldier had an infinite ammo code.😂
Tien Arnold Schwarzenegger comes from a different era of bodybuilding. In his day it was more about aesthetics and bodybuilders looked good when they were in training.
Nowadays it's all about getting bigger with the help of steroids. Arnold Schwarzenegger is not a fan of this; he is a huge critic of today's bodybuilding sport.
I think he's right, these days bodybuilders don't look very good anymore and they aren't healthy either. Many bodybuilders die young from steroid abuse.
Predator 2 is definitely worth a watch. It expands on the Predator lore a bit and there's even a small hint of a connection between the Alien and Predator universes.
Which brings us to the two Alien vs Predator movies. Neither of them are really good but they both built a loyal fan base.
The other Predator movies are okay but none of them really blew me away.
Since most people here are recommending classics and good movies, I'm going to recommend one of my Arnold Schwarzenegger insider tips, Commando from 1985.
It's just a cheesy action movie, but it has some of the best one-liners in movie history.😉
That was a great reaction, as always, Angels!💜

You should definitely check out Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Both are incredibly good movies and probably Aronold Schwarzenegger's most famous movies.

You guys are doing a great job. You will LOVE Arnold Schwartzenegger in Conan the Barbarian (1982). A fun historical fantasy movie where every scene revolves around maximum artistic use of Arnold's perfect physique - and, especially for you Tien, he is 5 years younger than in Predator! 😂

Definitely! The lore expansion is nice, I should have mentioned that! I know it tends to get a bad rap but I really love Predator 2. It's a very quotable film, too!
One of my favorite things about Prey is the Comanche dub. It's a great bit of representation and it *really* deepens the immersion factor.

100% agree. Predator 2 is good since it expands on the predator's lore a good bit. And Prey was just all kinds of awesome.

This is one of my all time favorite action movies. I saw this in the theaters with my buddies. We were seniors in high school and Arnie was our hero! He was the action hero of the 80s and 90s.
Hawkins, the bad joke guy, was one of the writers of the film and they killed him off first so he would work on rewrites during production. He also wrote Lethal Weapon (and others) which is another great action movie.
It is always a pleasure watching your reactions. Keep up the great work.

I agree. Prey would be the next Predator movie I would watch. That same director is making two more predator movies if I'm not mistaken.

For the hand signals I don't remember them all from basic training but of the ones I noticed in the movie...
Closed fist means stop or freeze like you noticed. Open hand means spread out. Twirling your finger in a circle means to rally (come together). Pointing your fingers at your eyes means to watch or look at something.
Google tactical/military hand signals; there are variations depending on country and role (like military or police).

I would highly recommend watching 'Prey' (2022), it was quite popular and helped refresh the Predator franchise with more films from the same director on the way, Predator 2 (1990) is also fun, but Prey is the important one, each Predator film can be watched as it's own separate thing so don't worry too much about watching in order, although if you watch Predator 2 before Prey you will catch one reference at the end.

Predator 2 expands on the "why" of the predators motive. Only the first two Predator movies are any good.

This movie is one of my favorites as I saw it when I was just a little kid and probably too young to watch it.
One word you didn't seem to recognize was GUERILLA. We stole this word from the Spanish and it means a fighter who uses irregular military tactics and then can blend back in with the population. The way Americans say the word make it sound like Gorilla. In Spanish it's more like - geh-REE-yah.
It's hard to imagine Tien didn't know who Arnold Schwarzenegger was. At one point, he was easily the biggest star in the US, but Lang is right. He started out as a body builder, by the time he was actually filming movies he wasn't as huge as he was when he was a competitive body builder, but still VERY muscular.
You should defintely watch his other films: Conan the Barbarian, Terminator, Terminator2, Total Recall.

Another thoroughly entertaining reaction video! I actually love those moments where you both get silent and you can just tell you're engrossed in the film.
If you're going to watch anything else from this franchise, for my money the only two that are any good are 'Predator 2' (which is really just a repeat of this film in the city but is worth it for Danny Glover alone) and 'Prey'. The latter sets the story in the past and Amber Midthunder sells the heck out of it.
ETA: I hope you get to feeling better soon, Tien!

Fun movie and I REALLY appreciate the work you ladies are putting in with three movies in a few days. Very cool.
Also, since you're kind of doing horror here, maybe you can add the very first slasher ever (before the cliches and popular knowledge of serial killers was around), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974).
