As the web coiled around her, it left a deliberate gap over her belly, her navel still exposed and raw from the assault. The spider took its time, spinning a new, intricate pattern around her midsection, creating a frame that emphasized her vulnerability. The webbing grew tighter, hugging her curves, leaving no part of her untouched by its embrace. Lara could feel the sticky threads against her skin, the sensation both reassuring and suffocating. The spider's movements grew slower, more deliberate, as if it were crafting a piece of art rather than preparing.

When it was done, the creature stepped back, admiring its handiwork. The sight of Lara's body, bound and helpless, seemed to satisfy it for the moment. It turned away, disappearing into the shadows of the chamber, leaving her alone in the dim light. Her breathing grew shallow, the venom thick in her veins, pulling her into a deep, dark sleep.

As the hours stretched into eternity, Lara's body began to feel less like her own and more like a part of the cave itself. The cold breeze pressed against her, the dampness seeping into her pores, becoming one with the very essence of the earth. The web that held her became a second skin, the threads pulsing with the same rhythm as the beating of her heart. Her mind grew fuzzy, the edges of her consciousness blurring until she was no longer sure if she was Lara Croft or a mere extension of the ancient tomb that had claimed her.
