There was also a remake a few years ago, which wasn't that good.😅 The two old men on the balcony were Statler and Waldorf, a popular act from the Muppet Show. https://youtu.be/14njUwJUg1I?si=doLvwAR8RIrmSoiU The fight between the old man and the tree was a parody of the fight between Gandalf and the Balrog from Lord of the Rings.
