I'll continue to do these at least a little longer this year, even when Patreon switched everyone to subscription billing since a majority of my patreons were on the old billing so I'm hoping it's still helpful. I'm still not aware if patreon has a billing reminder function (it does not for me on my end) so please let me know if this is still good to continue!
