Added 2024-06-12 16:16:53 +0000 UTCHey guys! Here's the new version of this cool mashup I did for my Pridefest show in Milwaukee on June 8th, mixing my song 2menkiss with Eurhytmics classic Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This).
Back in 2020 I shared with you a first demo of this mashup that I had been using in my shows and DJ sets. I've been perfecting the sound over the years and this is the latest version, which I finished just a week before the Pridefest show.
I did this one from scratch, reworked the original Eurythmics sounds and remixed some of my percussion and sounds. I didn't re-record the vocals because they were taken out for my performance, but if we finally decide to do the special vinyls (we've been planning it for ages - they're so expensive!) I might do that for the final version.
