Added 2020-09-21 01:48:26 +0000 UTCI would like to apologize about the Pocahontas BL, I forgot disney based them off on real people with tragic backstories. 🤮 (thts why pocahontas ddnt end up with john smith cuz I was wondering since I was a kid why this is the only disney chara who ddnt end up with their first love) and Now I cnt stop thinking about it. I'm sorry for this.

But then, the reason why drew them cuz I loved the concept of a couple in different race/status falling love despite of their differences. (loving these cliche stories yknow)
So Im thinking of making a fairytale story with the same couple vibes to include in our NAFS webtoon.
like a royal prince who fell in love with brave tribe warrior/protector of the forest that yields the power of nature. (Something along that concept.)
I really really want to draw this concept for a BL couple so I hope this would be alright if I make something on my own rather than a parody of the disney pocahontas. I hope this is okay with you guys. So Let me know what you think~

It is very honorable of you to apologize for your last drawings on Pocahontas. If you want to make your own BL story with two characters from different ethnicities, this would be a great idea. Above all, do not hesitate to do so. Otherwise, you may regret it. Whatever you decide, I think your fans will be following your BL story with great interest. It will be my case anyway.

This did not offend me at all and I think it is very big of you to come out and apologize to those who may be offended. But remember, you are doing works of fiction. You are not drawing a biography of these two historical figures and stating it as fact. Disney didn't even do that and since you are basing your art off of Disney, I think its fine. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see whats next. ❤

It’s true that Disney based them off real life people, but they also made other movies with dark origins that they also rewrote, like Hercules or even the little mermaid. I was excited to see you did a Pocahontas parody, I love that many are starting to consider Native Americans apart of their work. And I love the idea for your new BL. Looking forward to it 😘

2020-09-21 01:52:38 +0000 UTCDon’t worry the story itself was made up by John Smith himself. He wrote the story when Pocahontas came to Europe (basically dragged there) by her forced husband. She was seen as popular then so he wrote the story, but when he went to her tribe she was like 12 and neither were interested in each other.
