Sharing with you this never-seen page I did back in 2021 when I was trying to figure out the “Always” plot. Everything started from a scene I’ve never drawn, of which this sketch should have been the beginning: I imagined Mobius to be back home (🥲) where he has a wife and maybe kids too, and one day he opens the door and finds a very big anonymous package. Like, very big, because it contains a jetski! And he finds a little piece of paper too, with a little dagger, which says “for all time, always”. This was the ending of his arc in my mind, back then in 2021, when I was 100% sure that our Mobius would have found peace one day, saying goodbye to Loki but also finding home and happiness. Result, they parted, they never said goodbye and Mobius hasn’t found his home and he even left the TVA (for what we know so far). So let’s keep this sketch as part of a dream that never became true. 💔
