Some pages back Aziraphale says to Crowley “you can be my old Crowley” answering to Crowley’s “may I be your new Oscar?”. I think that sums up the whole situation. Aziraphale needs to move on. He was depressed, but now that Crowley has declared his love for him, what can he do? Aziraphale loves Crowley. He just didn’t know it until Crowley did this mess. Or at least he hadn’t thought about this scenario. It’s like he’s suddenly awakening in the middle of a nightmare: Crowley. loves. him. This doesn’t mean that Aziraphale forgot Oscar in a few moments. He still loves him, he will always remember him. But Oscarand Crowley are two different persons, two different kinds of love, two different pieces of his angelic heart. Hope this clarify a little bit, and sorry for the bad English, here it’s late and I’m pretty sleepy!
