Dantino (“Little Dante”) ‘s Adventures
Added 2021-09-12 13:37:13 +0000 UTCI’m here sharing for the first time some pages from the books that will be published this October! As maybe you already know, I’ve been working on these books for a year. In Italy this year we celebrate Dante’s 700 anniversary, so why don’t make a new book for children? We decided to split the Divine Comedy in three books: Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso. The first two pics are two early sketches I did to study Dante’s character design. The idea was that Dante and Virgilio must be children. The other pics are pages from the three cantiche. In these days I’m finishing the last pages! Phew! The pages will be together a short text to explain the scenes. I really hope the books will be translated in other languages too!
