I worked HARD in these last days to do these 6 illustrations! They're 6 of 50 (nk!) drawings that will be part of an illustrated book called Love Letters, a project that has been in my mind since February of this year. Maybe someone of you remember I was searching for famous love stories... Well, time passed and I continued to think of it. My will was to illustrate beautiful (and sad) love stories, summing them up in heartbreaking (and totally imagined) letters. I'm not the writer, my duty is only to draw! I'm working with another person who has wonderful writing skills. I still can't show you the wrote letters, I'm translating them in English (in a very rough way, I'll ask for help soon), but these are the drawings that will be together the text. The idea is simple: to imagine never-written love letters between real persons from the past. You'll have Oscar Wilde and Robbie Ross (who writes to a dead Oscar), John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Amedeo Modigliani and Jeanne Hébuterne, Arthur Rimbaud and Verlaine, Zelda and Scott Fitzgerald, and so on. I want to tell 50 love stories. The book will be sold in a Kickstarter campaign (my first one, I'm quite anxious), because it requires a lot of work and time. I hope to launch it this month. Meanwhile, have a look! :3
