If you're still here, long story short I got called early in the morning and had to personally clean up my stepfathers over-dose mess. Given my roll in my family I haven't let myself go through any sort of emotional processing aside from kicking in a trashcan (I apologized to it).
I'm going to take a few days to not do anything except be there for my mom and siblings. He was a deadbeat, but there was enough good to him for me to care.
Sorry to yall that it seems like this happens a lot. It really doesn't feel good.
