Don't pay Patreon through iOS App ๐กThey are charging you more

The price you see at the top is the real price of my Platinum tier. The price shown below is what iOS users are charged when subscribing directly through the App Store. The problem is that Apple takes about 30% in fees AND ALSO INCREASES THE PRICE, which makes the subscription look much more expensive than it actually is.
That extra charge doesnโt go to me or other creatorsโit goes straight to Apple. This makes it seem like our prices are inflated, when in reality theyโre not.
๐ To avoid overpaying, I recommend subscribing with your credit/debit card or via Google Pay. This way, youโll pay the real price, save money, and directly support the creators (including me) without Apple taking such a large cut.
Also, in the next few hours, Iโll be lowering the Platinum tier price, so itโs the perfect time to join.
To give you an idea of how serious this is: when you pay through Apple, out of $11.5 you put in, I only receive $4.3. I didnโt realize it was this severe until I checked, but it really is.
(And this applies to all Patreon tiers, which is why Iโll be removing the $1 tier.)
Thatโs why I ask you to consider not using iOS or Apple for your Patreon subscription. Instead, pay normally with your card or directly from the website on a computer or laptop.
Iโm sharing this so that Apple doesnโt take advantage of you or my work.
