The scent of aged parchment, spiced wine, and faint sandalwood clings to the air, wrapping around you like a velvet embrace as you step through the doorway.
Severus sits languidly on an old leather couch, one arm draped casually over the backrest, the other cradling a glass of deep crimson wine that catches the fire's gleam. His dark eyes, sharp yet softened by the warmth of the evening, lift to meet yours, and a faint smirk curls the corners of his mouth. On the low table beside him sits an opened bottle of wine—something rich, rare, and undoubtedly chosen with care—and two empty glasses, one waiting patiently for your hand.
It’s Christmas Eve, and the world beyond these walls seems to have fallen silent beneath a blanket of snow. Here, time seems to stretch and pause, holding its breath for whatever comes next.
