Yello friends,

Here's this week's Freddy, plus some sketchbook pages. I was sick for a couple days and I did a lot of drawing while I rewatched The Sopranos. I also did studies of some of Amanda Vähämäki's work. She's a Finnish cartoonist and maybe my favorite artist ever?

It felt really good to draw in my sketchbook, like, for fun. I don't really do that much anymore. I mean I guess it wasn't just for fun, because I have a new character in mind that I've been struggling to figure out how to draw. I keep landing on iterations I like, and then she changes again. It just hasn't really clicked yet. But I like where it's going. I also tested out drawing in pencil and then bitmapping it, and I kind of really like how that looks...I guess I'm sort of just waiting for her to show herself. I have a story in mind, but I feel like I need to get to know her character before I do anything.

Okay now for some business

-If you missed it, you can buy a pdf of some Freddy comics I collected on my Patreon store. Of course, as patrons, you can also just look at the collection and read them all!

-New tiers. The biggest change is that I am going to be sending out a little collection of Freddys every time I finish 24 of them, which is about every 6 months instead of every month like I used to do.

-all tiers will see the weekly Freddy and other posts

-$3 will get you pdfs of the Freddy collections as well as pdfs of any other comics I finish

-$5 will get you all that plus print copies of all of those comics in the mail

-$10 will get you all that plus a little drawing with your print comics

-$20 gets you all that and a yearly commission.

Oh also PS!!! If you subscribe to Patreon through the Apple i0S app, DO NOT DO IT!! They charge you a 30% "processing fee"!! It's insane!! Greedy POS assholes.
