Now that the launch phase is over and things have calmed down, we are settling into a steady production schedule.
Here are some of the things I've been working on since the launch:
More Kincaid Moves
Ducking and standing up:

Turning around

This is just a cosmetic variation to add some flavor to changing directions, so we don't just flip her sprite instantly.
Combo Attack



This will replace the melee attack we have right now, which was just a placeholder.
Ranged Attack

We are not 100% sure if this will make it in the game, but we will play with it during the next few builds to see how it feels.
Kincaid is now 100% less grumpy!

Redid her face for her idle animation to better match her attitude in all the other animations. Now she doesn't look bored anymore when you don't move her! ^w^
New Enemies
Big lizard

This enemy is still in the early conception phase. Not exactly sure yet what his final design will be!
Slime









To close off the week I started working on the CG for the slime blob encounter. It's still very rough, but it might be interesting for those who are interested in my art process:
