Umamusume Season 2 Episode 2-3 Full Reaction

Comments

Commenting quite late cause I just started watching season 2 myself. Your pre episode point about liking happy outcomes with dread is actually the same way I feel with a lot of things, and I found myself really liking the 1st episode ending for much the same reason. That feeling is part of why I love Re:Zero so much. It rarely has (physical) consequences and yet elicits such strong feelings of dread. It lets me get the catharsis of happy endings, while not having characters getting unbelievably lucky or having plot armor to have gotten to that point

At 58:30, the man standing next to gold ship in the black jacket is the groom of the irl gold ship

So I’m going to recommend watching the op for season 2 at least twice. Once any time before episode 8 and then again at episode 8 as it does a really cool visual change to suit the story that is happening at that time.

The actual organization is the JRA the Japan Racing Association. The Umamusme Racing Association is game only.

Winning the Classic Triple Crown requires you to win the Satsuki Sho, Japanese Derby, and Kikka Sho. A racer can only enter these in their Classic Year. There’s only 1 year where you can meet the qualifications, (for horses it’s for 3 year olds), and then that’s it. That was the only chance, and it was squandered. I believe the specifics were mentioned in Episode 1 of this season, but no harm in a refresher-

Tokai Teio the horse debuted in Dec 1 1990. He was undefeat for his next 6 races until the Derby May 26 1991. Tokai Teio was diagnosed with a leg fracture which ended his Triple Crown bid. The Triple Crown can only be run by 3 year old horses in their Classic year. One shot. Tokai Teio did not run again until April of 1992.

To join the classic races of the triple crown, only three year old horses can participate. You only got one chance
