Well, as for 3 or 4 seasons, I have to disappoint you. There are 16 books out at the moment. Each anime season consists of 2 books. If the anime continues, we can look forward to at least 8 seasons. Hmmm, Eggplant reveal. I just say frog. Whoever knows, knows.

2025-02-22 17:56:14 +0000 UTCOK, let's try this. Officially, the public believes that Jinshi is a eunuch and manager of the rear palace of unknown parentage. Maomao still believes the same, but once had the theory that Ah-Duo's son with the current Emperor (Jinshi) was switched at birth with the Empress Dowager's son she had with the previous Emperor (who later died while in Ah-Duo's care). Jinshi himself once believed that the current Emperor was his father, but was later told that the previous Emperor was his father. So if we believe Maomao's theory, Jinshi doesn't know his true parentage and still thinks that his real grandfather (the previous emperor) is his father and his real father (the current emperor) is his brother. I hope this clears things up a bit. I left out the information that we might learn in later seasons, if there is any.
